The staff was helpful and kind over the phone.. I was able to reach them quickly when I arrived and they helped me sort things out.
The place was very quiet and the bedding clean and comfortable.
In the bathroom, the fixtures were quite shabby and dusty.
I would have liked to find a mug and cutlery available for guest use

The room was clean and so was the bathroom. We are cyclists and Arkie was kind enough to let us in early on a very hot day and also accommodated our request to stay an extra day because of the coming heat wave. The room had a life saving fan, so we kept cool. There are shops nearby and it's only a short walk to the centre of the old city.

It did the job of somewhere to sleep and shower but little more.
When we arrived there was garden furniture and debris strewn all over the parking area at the front of the house where we wanted to park, plus slabs of concrete in the way of the front door. I had to move everything. It was also the first place that I have ever stayed in that had no loo roll in the en-suite toilet.
