Walk to shops
Had a problem with no hot water in shower
Even though it was late (10:45pm) it was sorted out quickly with a visit from owner
There was a switch outside to room on the landing I was not aware of

A very quiet location, clean and comfortable. It is very well equipped, with separate (shared) cooking and eating areas. Fridge storage, kettle and tea, coffee, sugar all very useful. A nice bonus is water and cola in the fridge as a welcome.
The entrance to the property is not good - there are several trip hazards and uneven artificial turf strips. This is not a very encouraging look when one arrives. See photo. (That said, there are a lot of rather uncared-for gardens in the area, sad.) It didn't spoil our stay.

Felt quite safe and was quiet
There was a very strong smell of sewage in the bathroom that spread to the bedroom.
