Fabulous!

Everything, especially the little cafe -it meant we didn't always have to hunt for a cafe nearby! The location was super, incidetally, and the rooms modern and clean. And LOVED having our own bathroom! the porters were fabulous too.

The beds are doubles - not large doubles - quites a challeng for two adults used to kingsized beds, but you explain that so we knew.

Overpriced......

The reception staff were excellent, both on check in and check out. The shower was good (but sadly not great water pressure).

I think its rather expensive (£156 per night) for a basic student double room with en suite, and there is no breakfast included. The room was bear, no bedside lights and you had the choice of a bright top light or the desk light. The room was hot and trying to get some ventilation with the limited window opening was not easy. The bed base was bigger than the mattress and made of wood, with sharp corners, the same colour as the wooden flooring.....we both stubbed our toes / feet more than once! Only one pillow each, so sitting up in bed was not possible. For this money, better off staying at a Premier Inn in the city!

A most delightful weekend stay.

We were greated by the porters, who were friendly and very helpful. The rooms and halls etc were well kempt. The beds very comfy. We spent a great deal of time in the gardens, which were glorious, so very well planted. Lots of green to enjoy and deck chairs to use. The roof top was a favourite spot for a morning coffee and to look out over the gardens a great start.

This was an adequate place to stay. It was very clean.

There was no information regarding parking when I booked. If parking is not available it should be stated from the outset, particularly as parking in Cambridge is the most expensive I have ever encountered with London.

Enjoyed location, but overpriced with limited facilities

It puts a roof over your head but is in no way worth the price. A hotel or B&B would have been cheaper and better.

Location was fairly close to where we wanted to be and the staff we met were accommodating.

It should be made clearer that you are staying in a students dorm room. We got the impression that this was a hotel room based on/near a campus with and was disappointed at the lack of any luxuries such as a tv, decent pillows or hand soap. It was very basic.

The light switch in the room does not work as a usual light switch. You need to press it several seconds before it switches off. It would be helpful to put this info somewhere. We were lying awake in the bright room.

The college is lovely and the room has was modern, spacious and very clean. The porters were extremely friendly and helpful.

Good location, comfortable bed. The staff were characters. Everything was in good working order. Quiet surroundings and lovely views of the courtyard. Overall good value for money.

Dirty towel and dish left in the room. The booking site did not make it obvious that this was normally student accommodation. We expected a hotel experience and it is definitely not that. The room was very basic and there are no other facilities as one would find in a hotel.

Location is quite good. It took us 12 minutes to city centre by walking and bus station is nearby. The room is clean and facilities are great. The college also looks fantastic.

The room temperature is a bit high at night in summer. If a fan can be borrowed, that’s great.
