Bali Garden Beach Resort

We liked the location so close to Waterbom Park. The breakfast was great. The room was clean and everything we needed.

We're not big fans of Kuta so wouldn't stay for more than 2 nights as we wanted to get out of Kuta.

Lovely gardens, great service, good location, good restaurant and pools.

The major thing that lets the hotel down and is upsetting to see, is the Rubbish on the beach out the front. I don’t understand why this can’t be picked up to improve overall opinion of the Kuta area and the hotel. No customers on the beach due to the rubbish I imagine.

We booked this hotel for the beach access, as a private beach with umbrella was specified in the hotel description. We arrived to be very disappointed that there is no access to the hotel’s beach due to industrial work. Meaning we only had access to the public beach, which was incredibly filthy (plastic, rubbish, clothing) and it was filled with local men who made 2 young female travellers often feel very uncomfortable. We raised this with hotel management who couldn’t have handled the situation better - they were very apologetic, gave us a free massage and agreed to cancel our stay free of charge. Unfortunately booking.com didn’t let us cancel as it was a non-refundable booking, but that was out of the hotels control. We have raised that the blocked beach access was not communicated to travellers beforehand, had we know we wouldn’t have booked the hotel. Other than the beach, it’s a lovely hotel, I’d recommend
