Bali Garden Beach Resort

Lovely hotel. Beautiful gardens.great pools.

Staff was unbelievably friendly and attentive, as well as helpful. Rooms were cleaned meticulously and the garden was manicured. Spa was absolutely awesome. Literally, every member of staff did a fantastic job (Thanks Desy and Mila from the restaurant team; you made our stay very personal!). Pool (of which there were three, one for adults only) and garden were an absolute dream!

The rooms could perhaps benefit from a little make-over/investment. In one of the rooms I was unable to regulate the air con, for instance. Nothing staff could have possibly fixed.

We booked this hotel for the beach access, as a private beach with umbrella was specified in the hotel description. We arrived to be very disappointed that there is no access to the hotel’s beach due to industrial work. Meaning we only had access to the public beach, which was incredibly filthy (plastic, rubbish, clothing) and it was filled with local men who made 2 young female travellers often feel very uncomfortable. We raised this with hotel management who couldn’t have handled the situation better - they were very apologetic, gave us a free massage and agreed to cancel our stay free of charge. Unfortunately booking.com didn’t let us cancel as it was a non-refundable booking, but that was out of the hotels control. We have raised that the blocked beach access was not communicated to travellers beforehand, had we know we wouldn’t have booked the hotel. Other than the beach, it’s a lovely hotel, I’d recommend
