Perfect location & resort for a young family looking to relax and be close to a lot.

Buffet breakfast is a hit with the kids, the staff and service is amazing, there is so many staff around and they are all willing to help with such a polite attitude no matter what. The pool is amazing, we hired a cabana on 4 separate days, each one in a different location of the pool to make the most of it. The cabana is something that you should pre book though as they are in high demand, although there is also plenty of sunbeds with shade too. The room is somewhere we personally don't spend a lot of time, but none the less they are cleaned daily, have everything that you need for a comfortable stay.

That is my second time there and I think for the price, it would be a nice place to stay for a shorter holiday. My kids are 13 & 9 so they didn't make use of the kids activities, but again that's a personal choice.

house keeping are amazing on it and any requests come immediately, breakfast good variety, pool is great for kids

need more pool servers if you are not in a cabana hard to get orders as not many staff to take orders, the compulsary nye package was very expensive for what it was we assumed drinks were included at the pool also but this was not the case, the xmas dinner was much better value and drinks were included for less $$ we probably wont stay for nye again.

Fun, convenient, and lively Hard Rock Bali is a place we’re happy to revisit anytime.

We first stayed at the Hard Rock in 2014 with our two children, who are now adults, and we couldn’t resist coming back.The location is fantastic, you can spend your entire stay enjoying the resort and still have an absolute blast. If you do want to venture out, everything is right at your fingertips: shops, restaurants, spas, whatever you’re looking for, it’s all easily accessible. The resort truly has something for everyone, and we loved every minute of our stay.

My only minor complaint is that the rooms aren’t fully soundproof. If the guests above are heavy-footed or guests are walking past your room super late and being loud, odds are you will hear them. That said, turning the AC on high helps drown it out, and we still enjoyed a peaceful night’s sleep.

Good for famliy good location

The room was very small, and the breakfast had very limited options. The BBQ seafood by the pool was overpriced and didn’t offer much variety. While we were staying at the hotel and spending time at the pool with our family—ordering drinks and food—the staff kept coming repeatedly to ask us to pay the bill. It felt uncomfortable and unnecessary, especially for hotel guests. Overall, the experience could be improved with better room space, more breakfast choices, and a more relaxed approach from the staff.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this property and probably the last. The kids enjoyed the pools and waterslides.

Surfers Paradise in Bali- terrible

Nice pool - big

There is a strong smell in the rooms; they seem to be just focused on money- no one asked re our stay; we had friends visit us at the pool and cabana which we paid over $150AUD and they charged our friend to enter the hotel another $159 AUD . Drinks and food expensive for what it is. Also u cannot smoke anywhere like most places in Bali- this is basically like Australia. Surfers Paradise at Bali. Only a few smoking areas and you are hiding or back somewhere like in Australia. Also balcony is around 30cm deep. Everything you ask they just say ‘pay pay pay’. They dont ask how can i help you or do you need anything. I would not stay there again for free

Upon booking my accommodation, I specifically asked for our two rooms to be right next to each other as we have 4 x children, and was told this will be done. However when we checked in, there was a room between our two rooms, therefore our family of six had to squeeze in the one room.

Pools are great lots of slides and play areas for kids my son loves the water slides. It’s big enough with different options deep pool sand pool etc. people where friendly too. The location is absolutely the best you can’t beat it walking distance to all the main shops. Overall the rooms were clean and reasonable size for us all. For the sake of good location and good pool facilities it’s 10/10

To expensive I’m sorry but the prices here are like in Australia and even more in some instances. For e.g one simple ice cream on a stick was about $7.50 I paid but I was appalled. Food in the cafe was nice enough but the buffet although had plenty of options and they did change it up each day, I found it to be very ordinary in taste. The kids club you have to pay which i didnt bother I felt everything was expensive enough. Room service food was also very ordinary. The people next to us where dread fall coming back to theirs rooms 11pm even 1am with little kids screaming and carrying on… totally off putting.

Hard Rock Hotel offers a great holiday experience and it can be even better if a few things are addressed.

Exceptional customer service and good buffet options to choose from.

Swimming pool entertainment staff felt somewhat lost. Only a few activities for kids and almost none for adults. Other hotels have amazing pool activities. The Radio Station hosts never mingled with guests. It would’ve been really interesting to invite guests for short live interviews. I feel that the whole radio station idea is falling short.

Great Kuta experience with kids.

Overall service was great. Breakfast was not quite on par with other resorts we've stayed in the area, but still pretty damn good. My only remark is regarding the facilities. They are good but starting to look old and needing some attention. Other than that AMAZING!

I have visited Bali many times and was excited to stay at HardRock, but unfortunately it did not li.

Breakfast was more than adequate.

The beds were hard and the doonas on the beds were far too heavy. They need to provide a top sheet. The music from the bar was very loud.

The facility has all the amenity and sufficient activities for children. Great happy hours deal that keep the adults happy too. Good bed and tidy room.

The traffic is a killer. The one-way street at the main entrance often takes hours to get to places that you can reach walking. If something can be done about this will hugely improve the experience of the stay.

Dark and smelly

Great location and facilities for children.

Room very dark, not enough lighting. Bathroom very smelly like boiled cabbage even though we bought an air freshener. Children's play area directly below our room and noisy from 0630 every morning. A tiny balcony to dry clothes but you have to climb over the static bed to get to it. Very difficult. The children's bed was very hard

The rooms smelt and if it wasn’t for the air purifier in our room it would have been awful. The first room we were put in smelt really bad and we had to be moved. Also the premier deluxe queen room says it is suitable for family of 4 however rooms are really small with no storage for all of the suitcases.
