Ramayana Suites and Resort

The location was fabulous right in the middle of shopping area and a few hundred metres from the beach. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we have had in Bali. Staff are extremely attentive. We dined at AlDente Italian attached to the resort . The food and vibe was amazing.

Bathroom was tiny. The noise from the street was quite noticeable at night

comfy beds, spacious room and good facilities like gym, pool, restaurants etc.

Initial room did not have any view (wall) and kids room shower and toilet did not work properly

Room view. But hey that didnt matter I wanted cheap.

Location was great - very accessible to shops, markets, beach and other attractions. The only downside was that it made the rooms quite noisy due to traffic, whistles, screaming and shouting from partying tourists, etc. The staff were very friendly and did their best to put things right (i.e. with the poor service and food in the restaurants).

I wouldn't describe this hotel as a 5 star resort. The hotel room was noisy - there was construction going on above our room and lots of noise from outside (traffic, shouting, whistles, etc). We tried two of the restaurants during our stay (Gabeh and Al Dente) - they were both awful. The food was not good at all and at both restaurants, we waited well over an hour for our food to arrive. My daughter waited 2 hours for her dinner (a ham & cheese toasted sandwich), which eventually arrived about 30 mins after everyone else on our table got their meals. The sandwich was not as described in the menu (diff ingredients) and was not edible. We did not pay for this item. Our room was quite run down - the shower dripped all night, some of the electrics were loose and hanging out the wall - we couldn't turn one of the lamps off - not good.
