Yan's House Hotel

Very handy to most things, clean and very happy polite staff, great value for money

Close to airport ,room service meals very good, staff friendly.

Street noise, sports bar close bye.chairs in front of hotel extremely uncomfortable and hard to stand up as they are so low and angled.

The Location is great, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good, although everything tasted sweet. Even though hotel is on main strip, was not disturbed by any outside noise.

The rooms are starting to look tired. The net curtains are torn, the vanity unit in the bathroom needs attention, and a shower curtain would make a big difference. Also the pink metalwork in the bedroom is a bit gaudy.

Great location on a busy road with loads within walking distance, including shops, restaurants, Waterbom and Discovery Mall. The staff were lovely and the room with breakfast was great value. The bed was really comfy and the blackout curtains were great. Breakfast was really good, with free juices, coffee, fruit and breads, plus a menu where you could choose a main dish freshly prepared for you. Solid WiFi too. The pool looked lovely, we just wish we’d given ourselves time to use it! Tea, coffee and water in the room, and the little chocolate gift was a nice surprise. I also loved the motivational quotes and positive affirmations throughout the halls. Very peaceful during the week.

Weekends are wild! Saturday night was extremely loud, almost like being next to a nightclub, with a DJ at the front and something else going on behind the hotel. It didn’t bother me personally, but definitely worth knowing if you want a quiet sleep before midnight. The hotel also needs some maintenance. The shower was rusty, there was mould around the AC and quite a few water leaks around the hotel. Our AC would actually spill water when we turned it off. There were also ants and small cockroaches in our room, which obviously wasn’t pleasant. The TV is very basic too, with no way to connect to apps like Netflix or Disney+.
