Very good weekend but poor value for money

central location hotel has a nice buzz

Room was not what i booked was very small and cramped would advise anyone booking to not accept the room if allocated breakfast room got very busy at times with not enough tables staff rushed of there feet and no waiting or allocation system in place

One little Gem in the old city of Antwerp

Location is absolutely 💯 perfect, in the old town of Antwerp. They serve free beers 🍻 and wine 🍷 with snacks for the guests from 4.30pm to 8pm 👍 It is only minutes away from old square and church, restaurants and bars

Disappointing & Unsafe – Not What You Expect from a 4-Star Hotel

The breakfast (and late breakfast on weekends) and the location

We stayed from July 17–21 during Tomorrowland and were very disappointed. The worst issue: at 2 AM we found our door wide open — housekeeping hadn’t locked it after cleaning. The room was unlocked for over 10 hours, which is a major security breach and made us feel unsafe for the rest of our stay. Other problems: after check-in, we had to change rooms due to a booking mistake… they told us after one hour when we went downstairs. No call, no knocking at the door. We already used the bathroom and unpacked everything… The only compensation offered was a cheap €10 bottle of Cava, even after the security incident. They promised free breakfast as a gesture, but we had already paid for it. The room itself was poorly equipped: uncomfortable, hard pillows, no fridge, no kettle — even though both were listed on Booking.com. For a hotel of this category, this level of service and amenities is unacceptable. We didn’t feel taken seriously or safe at all.

Very nice boutique hotel just in the middle of the city. Perfectly located for buissness-stays and for sightseeing as well. Rooms are very nice.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Banks.

Great location, nice hotel, wonderfully helpful staff. Only wish it had been a shower instead of a tub as it was slippery. Also, as a woman, more hangers and a bigger full length mirror in the room. Very clean. Fabulous « apéritive » in the evening and great breakfast.

It was very hot in the room. And although we had a fan it was still quite warm. The ironing board we borrowed was missing some soft padding and had some red melted stuff in it.

Superb

The location is perfect. It is walking distance to all the main sites and right off a square with numerous restaurants with patio tables - perfect for afternoon drinks. The staff was very hospitable and accomodating. The rooms have all the necessities and as a bonus, come with a complimentary champagne and small snack pack. There are several parking garages nearby that are a reasonable price. The breakfast area is decorated well and the offerings were extremely tasty.

Narrow bathroom. Bath placed in a triangle-shaped space. Whilst it represented a quite ingenious use of a narrow, unusually shaped space, access to the bath was not so easy due to the bathroom’s uncommon configuration.

Tiny means really, really tiny

Great location, dog friendly, comfortanle bed, lovely lounge/bar area to chill and free drinks and snacks in the evening. The breakfast was a continental breakfast with a good choice that was brought to your table which was good as i was travelling by myself with my dog so i didn't have to get up several times other than getting a coffee from the machine. The hotel has a modern industrial design with glas and concrete, made cosy by using art, wood and plants but may not be to everyone's liking.

The tiny double room was very, very small with very little room to walk around the bed and no chairs or wardrobes. There was room for one suitcase at max and i ended up putting it on the bed as the area designated for luggage was also the only area i could put the dog bed for my Cockerpoo. Everywhere else she would've been disturbed by the sliding glas doors for the toilet and bath. As mentioned already by others, don't book a double room if you travel with anyone other than you partner whos private parts you don't mind seeing. The doors also leave a two finger wide gap so are not completely sealed off against damp and smell if there was any. Floor and ceiling are in grey concrete in line with the industrial design and that made this small room feel almost claustrophobic barely made up by the art on one wall.The indirect lighting when you first enter the room was probably ment to soften the impression but then you have to individually switch on the table and standing lamps to actually see enough. So this particular room is ok for a one night stop over but not if you want to treat yourself to an allround nice city break. I believe the hotel has better rooms for that. Finally parking is close by but be prepared to pay around 20 Euros for that in the area.
