A great location but must try harder

The selection of wines could have been far greater If you are going to serve cocktails then please maintain a suitable standard & ensure staff receive correct training, they were far from acceptable. Staff should clean tables as soon as guests have vacated them & not leave them for hours!!!

Absolutely amazing!

Absolutely everything, it was super close to the citycenter. But still in a very quiet neighbourhood! The rooms were comfortable, very clean and the staff was very friendly!

A lovely stay at a lovely hotel - perfectly located and a real treat for myself and my husband on our anniversary.

Lovely room and dining area / lounge. Fantastic entrance hall and a real wow factor from the outside. Breakfast was lovely and the room was fab.

Bed was a little too firm and there was a few flies around the apricots and prunes at breakfast. Maybe a cloche would be an idea

Dissapointed. And happy to be home.

Good location in town centre. Personnel at reception could not do enough but rooms were still being cleaned. There were apparently a few groups staying. Viking tours, musicians etc. The staff were overwhelmed but still kept their smiles going whic h was really nice. Good sized rooms. Clean. Great bathroom. Breakfast times were good. The tuna salad which I ordered a few times during my stay was good and fresh. Receptionist were knowledgeable and very helpful for any query.

Breakfast. I went at different times between 8am and 10am. Each day there were plates, bowls and/or cutlery missing. Well, they weren't. Food items were present or 'being replaced' haphazardly. And nothing was kept cool. Butter was absent the first morning. 2nd morning served on a large plate with one knife, 3rd morning plate got a cover. 4th, there was also 'margarine'. Butter knife was by 9am was filthy, sticky. Same for jam containers. FIlthy. Coffee machine was temperamental. So was the buffet. A desperate excuse for a 'restaurant'. All in all, a very sad place. Food itself was mediocre, a one-star experience. Will never use that company again. The whole food experience was sad and especially in the heat of summer, very unhygienic. oh, and check the knives and forks on the tables, they were also patchy, to say the least.

When selecting the room type we were particularly interested in a bath tab. This was in the picture for selected room type, and came at a price , but it was not there. The mattress was quite old/ uneven. The sound isolation with a street was poor and, unfortunately, tourists or, perhaps local teenagers were celebrating something loudly till 4 am, take along ear plugs.

Perfect Location to reach anything in a short discance by foot

I love the fact, that the parking is accessable via Hotel. Location is perfect, rooms nice as I remembered it from my last visit. They extended the gym that was already great. I received a personal note written by hand, as it was my second stay in the hotel.

The hotel changed the concept of the breakfast (I was there 2 years ago) It is now a buffet, that you find in all other hotels.

Very Nice hotel in a great location

Stayed end-April, so not high season, and Sapphire House was good value. The road to the entrance was under construction whilst we were there and the hotel made every effort to avoid disturbance to our stay. The old building is tastefully refurbished with lots of rooms to relax after a days sightseeing. Rooms were nicely appointed with comfortable beds . Staff were friendly and professional. Many cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Loved our stay in Antwerp and at Sapphire House.

The room was large and having a tub and a shower was a great pleasure… would have loved to give it a 10 but the construction is a large obstacle to getting to and from the hotel. The staff was absolutely fantastic!!

overall disappointing

Small reception, long waiting time, always people waiting for their turn. also a surprise was an Obligatory 100 Eur per day (!!!) deposit, although they took the credit card as a guatlrante... this is pretty, I would say, disrespectful, both for a 5* hotel and when you are not notified in advance. Pretty small room for 25 sq. meters, I strongly believe it was smaller. 6 or 7 by 3 meters max, so 18‐21 sq meters tops (room 306, please confirm if someone seemed the same). The room doesn't even have a wadrobe, just some open shelves and open hanger just by the bed (!!!). Very bad sound isolation, I heard some kids all the mornings very clearly as if I had a window opened - it was closed, and I could clearly hear the neighboring room. The staff doesn't know about their own hotel, I asked the receptionists for a shoe cleaning machine - they said they didn't have one, it appeared to be at -1 floor near the restrooms, but I only found it the next day...

We had an amazing time here, after a nightmare booking at another property we ended up last-minute booking to stay here and we had an incredible visit. The hotel is perfectly situated, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and it’s super clean and very beautiful.

This hotel is nice. Interior looks interesting. Location is perfect. It is near the center, but the place is really quite. Comfortable bathroom, good bed. The room was spacious and had a lot of shelves and drawers for clothes. This hotel is for animal lovers. If you have allergies, then this is not for you.

There were too many people on the breakfast, so we needed to wait a half hour for having place. Rooms are dusty. Very dusty. One day the entrance door in the hotel was broken, and it was extremely cold in the restorant.
