Always nice hotel to stay and staff is always very helpful and friendly

Top location.

Ideal location for Antwerp old town and main shopping street. Tram stop a few yards away. Spacious king room, classic interior, comfortable bed, sheets and pillows. Good breakfast. Friendly personnel especially in restaurant. Clean.

Breakfast. As a vegetarian it would be really helpful if cooked breakfast meats seperate from non meats as guests use same spoons for both. As such its a pass for us . A small think but really important

The rooms are large but dark and have not been renovated in years.

The star is very helpful. My first room had the basinet of the shower completely chipped. I was changed to another room which was better. The night light flickered and the other one made noise. I told the receptionist but it was not fixed. We specifically asked of they had gluten free foods at breakfast and we specially asked for oat milk. They had other for two days and then it was not available. Fortunately they did not charge us for the following two days.

When a guest is gluten and lactose intolerant tell the truth so one has the option of looking for another café

Great location, decent hotel, though pricey for the offer

The location is perfect and the rooms are really big. We also enjoyed a stunning view.

The rooms are dated and in need of refurbishing as the cupboard doors literally came off.

Dirty Underwear from previous guest in the closet

Well located, but location is not everything

We found the dirty underwear of the previous guest in the closet (see picture). We found pills in the floor next to the bed. When we complaine they just said I’m sorry, will talk to the cleaning service. The room and hotel feels dirty and beaten. Last time for us in a Hilton

Well located, super comfortable Hilton is lovely city

This very well-located Hilton in the old town in Antwerp is a delight to visit. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is wonderful. It is easy to reach on the Antwerp subway and within a short distance of many spots in Antwerp. The staff was helpful and the lounge was very good. Nothing to improve here.

Fantastic central location in the historic old town close to everything, including metro station just a few yards away. 6 minutes from Centraal station. Spacious clean rooms. Attentive staff, lovely bar / restaurant. Great to have great to have vending machines in reception with snacks, drinks and fruit.

Happily surprised with the Hilton. Not quaint, but a great location and cannot overemphasize staff

The hotel is a Hilton, and it checks all the Hilton boxes. Room, bathroom and ventilation are very good. Key points were location - it is a very few steps from the OLV cathedral. Antwerpen was a large city in its 16th century prime - keeping that in mind almost everything is in walking distance and the transit system is simple. Second key point: the staff - who were beyond helpful. Cordial, gracious and good humored. Helped me navigate a railway strike among other things.

The entrance to the hotel is on the Eiermarkt, on the north east side of the Groenplaats. The actual Groenplaats address is the hotel's cafe

Well equipped and beautiful hotel with helpful staff.

Stunning building and the rooms were spacious and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good. You could reach the hotel lobby directly from the underground public parking and everything in the old town area was within walking distance.

I can't think of anything that we weren't happy with.

Great location and large comfortable rooms.

Restaurant outside seating area on the square is drab and needed a good clean up. I am not surprised it was always deserted when other terraces on square were very busy. Some bottled water in the room on arrival would have been nice and I was surprised a hotel of this class did not provide it.

Central, quiet, comfy with excellent reception staff.

The room was very clean, love the carpets and the quality of the furniture - also care for the environment by not washing towels daily. Breakfast was ok. I would expect a little more from Hilton - especially a better quality coffee as machine coffee is not that nice.

I didn't like the cleaning materials they used throughout as they are quite strong. I would suggest more natural cleaning methods where possible and less fragrances.

Despite a couple of niggles, we had a pleasant - almost perfect stay.

Excellent location, spacious room and large bathroom, comfy bed with good quality linen. Very nice bar with great staff and reasonable prices.

- Very strange way of checking in with automatically added unexpected compulsory deposit for potential purchases (which I had no intention of doing). This is unacceptable practice as nothing was mentioned during booking. - Our room window had a broken lock and we were not able to open it to get a bit of fresh air. We reported it to the reception on arrival. Nothing was done after 4 days. The air conditioning was operable in 5 degrees increments only.

shopping weekend in old town

We liked the spacious room with the view over the city and the magnificent cathedral. The bathroom was also spacious with both bathtub and shower. We appreciated the tasty and fresh breakfast while watching the square outside and. fashionable people passing by. Everything to like at the breakfast.

We only got the the small bottles for shower and shampoo, maybe better with something more automatic on the wall to economise. maybe from Rituals.
