Highly recommended

Perfect location. Very friendly staff that were helpful and flexible. Great breakfast buffet with fresh self-made waffles. Room was spacious, very clean, had tea and coffee making facilities, a safe and a large TV. We used the car park which is only a short walk from the hotel and has EV charging (and is much cheaper than the local public carparks). There were building activities but we hardly heard any noise and in general, the hotel is very well sound proofed.

The elevator is slow (but then, you justness to relax ☺️)

Excellent location, room and breakfast with lovely staff.

The location is the best in town, right at the heart of the historic centre. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are very helpful and friendly. They got me really delicious gluten free bread every morning. The deluxe room was very comfortable and spacious with a very comfortable big bed. Really appreciated little touches like Rituals toiletries and slippers and bath robe.

Rubens Hotel offers a lovely respite in Antwerp in an otherwise busy area.

The room with 2 single beds was exceptionally large with windows that opened onto a courtyard. The lift was appreciated. Breakfast (which was included) was wonderful, particularly the waffle maker. The hotel is located in an area making it easy to walk almost everywhere, and the restaurant choices were many. Staff were friendly and helpful. Street was quiet, although nearby Grote Markt is so busy. The complementary bathroom products were quite nice.

I didn't care for the mini-bar or pay-for snack options taking up room on the only desk in the room.

Will definitely come again

The hotel easily accommodated the needs of my family, which was very much appreciated. This is not always the case with hotels. The room was spacious and easily fit in an extra bed. The facilities within the room were more than enough. It would be nice to have a lock on the bathroom door but that was a minor issue. Breakfast was plentiful and good and staff were very kind. The location is fantastic.

It would be nice to have the breakfast until 1030 if possible. Also a small gym would be a nice addition.

Good hotel, great location - I recommend!

Spacious room, very comfortable bed and pillows, which is rare. Large windows and lots of light. There is a big mirror. Nice interior. Spacious bathroom. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. This is the first time I've seen a disposable sleep mask in a hotel of this level - very good!

Unfortunately, at the time of our stay, construction work was taking place outside the hotel under our windows, which began at 7:00 in the morning. This caused great discomfort, since the room was on the second floor. Such nuances need to be resolved with the city authorities, since this affects the reputation of the hotel. Unfortunately, we were not offered an alternative, since we clarified in advance, considering that we stayed at the hotel for a special occasion. Therefore, there is no isolation. The lack of any greeting card and free water was also disappointing. We had to look for a supermarket in the city. The room does not have a heater in the bathroom - it was needed for personal needs. There is dust in some places and plaque on the tiles in the bathroom. It was also impossible to adjust the volume on the TV.

Decent near Antwerp center

Location. Very central in Antwerp, both the Grote Markt en Groenplaats are within easy walking distance.

The booking said, parking would be available. Once arrived we learned parking is available but at €25/night. We parked our car in a nearby parking garage. While checking out, the Banc Contact machine didn’t work, after trying 7(!) times, finally they offered another mode of payment.

Highly recommended

Nice hotel, well decorated & new. Extremely good location. Good and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Overall, very satisfied. It doesn't have a park of its own, but has an agreement with a car park nearby which makes it convenient.

It will be even better once the construction for the hotel extension is finalized.

The location was great, the room was spacious and clean with comfy beds and a good shower. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.

Not a 5 star hotel. Zero service. Zero help with luggage dragging to and from carpark located far.

For £300 British pounds per night you would expect some kind of service and a drinks bar in so called "5 star hotel". You had to help yourself to drinks. It was not possible to have a gin and tonic to refresh after 8 hours drive ! Self service only with no ice available and no sliced lemon for drinks ! Bad. It is not a 5 star hotel. There is no restaurant either. No help with luggages from car park which is a few hundred yards away from hotel !

Great hotel, wonderful location

Fantastic location 3 minutes walking distance of the Cathedral of our Lady and the Main Square (Grote Markt). Surrounded by many beautiful buildings, the City Hall and Guild Houses, shops, cafes and multiple restaurants. About 20 minutes (flat) walk through the main, extensive shopping area to the stunningly beautiful Central Railway Station. The hotel is welcoming, nicely decorated, and well lit.. The staff were very friendly and efficient. My room, on the 2nd floor, was very spacious, stylishly decorated, and furnished with a very large bed and comfortable seating area (modern sofa that can convert to a bed) with a desk and large TV. Plenty of electrical sockets and variable lighting options. One wall comprised 3 very large windows with great views over the neighbouring buildings, of the cathedral spire with its golden clock faces. The very compact toilet was separate from the shower-room - the walk-in shower was spacious, clean, and had great water pressure. Despite outside temperatures averaging -6°, the room and entire hotel was warm and comfortable.

There is nothing to dislike about this hotel. Free water would be a welcome touch

I can recommend 100%. Good location, 1 minute wak to centrum, but located in a very quiet side street. You even can park your car a short time before the Hotel door. Brakfast was great, staff all friendly.

Location excellent Breakfast v good Room good

No hand basin in separate toilet therefore having to walk back into bedroom and into bathroom before being able to hand wash 🤷🏻‍♂️. Cafe/ seating area would be a bonus for any times throughout the day after breakfast.
