Good choice for a business trip

Perfect location for a business trip by car – easy access and ideal parking. Warm, spacious, and comfortable rooms with very comfortable mattresses. The bathroom had all the necessary amenities for a short stay.

As a small recommendation, the breakfast could be improved. The waffle machine was not working properly, despite the kind assistance of the staff. And in Belgium, breakfast without waffles is a bit sad :-)

A more expensive hotel worth the price for comfort and location.

Very nice hotel where we comfortable being trapped by very icy weather outside. Room and bathroom were excellent.

Limited room service menu (4 entrees). Small portions but the quality and taste was very good.

Nice and clean room.

Nice clean room, helpful young lady on reception. All in all, nice hotel and good value for money.

No single bottle of water in the room, no tea making facility, surely a €1 bottle of water is not too much to ask for, perhaps it can be added to the bill if it is too much to ask for ? When passengers arrive late and tired, they don’t anticipate that the room has no water in it, like almost every other hotel room. The water in the shower was not strong enough, this was a mobile hose shower rather than a large fixed one on the wall. I prefer the later.

Agreeable but missing something’s to make it really pleasant

- Upon arrival we received a small gift voucher for the hotel shop. - We had room 701, which was spacious and in good condition. - The self made waffles at breakfast were a hit.

- Parking entrance was real tight. - There is an odor/ smell in the hotel that isn’t quite right. - Without windows to open you’re reliant on the airco and fan. The thermostat in our room was set to 25’C, so we needed to ventilate at max (noisy) to bring down the temp (which wasn’t actually 25’C but still a bit too warm for comfort at night). - The curtain clips came off the rails when opening them in the morning. - Breakfast was generally okay. It just felt that a few minor improvements would elevate the whole experience to a better level (mostly to do with presentation and perhaps lighting). - I checked out the gym and sauna around 10h in the morning, but couldn’t find the lights. Combined with the smell and very limited windows it was a bit depressing. So I did a yoga practice in my room instead.

Spacious room

The room was very large, comfortable bed. Very convenient that we even had a small kitchen. The breakfast was ok, but could have been better.

The sofa bed was not made, we had to ask the reception for pillows, blankets and towels.

The stay was pricey for what we got, it was nice, but we expected more.

The staff in the reception was nice and helpful. They’re available 24/7. The beds were big and comfortable.

We paid 30€ extra to stay 3 hours longer, since we wanted to sleep in. We were woken up not once, not twice, but three times in the morning. What a waste of money. If you pay extra, the cleaning service should know as well. The same thing happened to my sister and her boyfriend too!! Also, not enough parking, so if you’re unlucky, you’ll have to find a spot outside somewhere.

Clean and outside the city

The welcome lobby area and cafe area in the hotel are very nice and modern but unfortunately the rooms haven't had the same level of modernisation. However the rooms are mostly in good condition, the shower powerful, breakfast offered is good.

From a good to a bad experience

Good hotel, we have stayed here before. It's always a little expensive.

The hotel had maintenance work that disrupted our sleep at night and in the morning, with no prior warning. A four-star hotel should have informed us via Booking.com or at check-in. The way the reception responded was actually kind of rude — as if it’s normal not to inform guests because ‘noise in the morning is fine.’ No apology was offered whatsoever. This lack of transparency and professionalism significantly impacted our overall experience.

Pleasant hotel

The hotel was decorated nicely, the food was good, and there were a few different choices . Staff were friendly This hotel was in an ideal location for me as i was there for surgery, and it was literally a 5 min walk to the clinic . Although there were a few issues , not major, i would return here

We arrived at 12 pm , we were told that the room would not be ready until 3 so we had to wait a while. I did tell them that we would be arriving early on the booking app. There didn't appear to be any people waiting for rooms, so I'm not sure if they were short of cleaners or not. The bathrooms are in need of refurbishment. The one we stayed in, it needed updating. Grouting in the bathroom was quite bad, and also the taps . The magnifying mirror was no good for me as I'm only 5ft 2, and you needed to be a bit taller to see in it as it didn't pull away from the wall like the concertina ones most hotels have . The room itself was quite dark. I would have preferred a brighter room, but we were only there for 2 nights, so we didn't ask to be moved . The cleaning in the room didn't get done , towels were replaced, but no new cups were given as we had used them for the coffee facilities in the morning, so I was slightly disappointed in this . No bins emptied either.

The temporary bed extension of the sofa wasn't that comfortable, but for a night, The car parking space was quite narrow, with two normal cars parked next to each other, and there was no extra space to exist after parking

Excellent service and amazing room

Nothing was too much trouble for the kind staff, even when we arrived after 11pm. I couldn’t get the electric car charger to work, so they used the hotel card to help me charge my car and then I paid separately. They let us keep our car in the carpark after checkout. Very friendly to our son. We got a huge beautiful room for a good rate on a Monday night. Gigantic bed, sofabed, kitchen area, big bathroom. Cool Olympic theme throughout the hotel). Antwerp hosted the 1924 Olympics).

Breakfast was OK but not many vegan options. We’d like to have vegan cheese, yoghurt and pastries in addition to vegan milk.

Nice and clean hotel, friendly staff, and close to tram to city centre. Get €5 coupon per night if you opt not to tidy up your room each day, which you can use it in the hotel restaurant.

Great stay for a short stay!

Good location for a short stay! Tram stop just 5 min away, staff very helpful, luggage storage without any extra costs, possibility for a late check out and they were able to accommodate my initial room requests!

Rooms were cleaned but dusty, especially on the side of the chairs and other furniture. We barely used them since we were mostly out or in bed but it would have been nice to have the option to sit in a clean chair. Tip for the housekeeping manager’s to inspect the sides of the chairs and other furniture also cause this can be a place where bloodsuckers might breed! Also it wasn’t possible to open the windows for fresh air, you have aircon but would have been nice to have that option! Important to note that these details didn’t hinder our stay! We had a lovely time!

Quite a nicely decorated room, nice shower, good parking area, well reachable from the ring of antwerp.

Quite some dust in cabinets, on window sills, wall in bathroom was not entirely clean, the upgrade to nicer room was just to get a updated room, normal rooms are the same size.

Friendly and beautifully presented

The room was just beautiful, so comfortable and spacious and it was so handy having the kitchen there too. Loved the coffee machine! The complimentary products were lovely and the staff so friendly and very helpful.

I was very disappointed with the breakfast :( It was so crowded in there and the space to get to the food was so small and cramped. There was a huge long line to get to the food too. However, there was a lovely variety of foods and the quality was good, I just really didn't enjoy the experience at all unfortunately.
