Good location but don't spend money on premium rooms.

The location is the main reason for booking this hotel. It has a convenient spot close to the station, at the cross roads of a few trams and in walking distance of the city center. I imagine if you get the right room, you might have a nice view of the ferris wheel and station.

The value of our 'upgrade' was non-existant. We booked for a premium room, which is advertised to have one of the round rooms. But on the second image you see what you really get: a slightly bigger room on a middle floor with a view of gray old buildings. Definitely not worth your money to upgrade if you're looking for something romantic.

Would be very wary of staying in any Radisson Blu hotel in the future.

Easy to reach from the station, pool was nice to have and was clean although the changing rooms were either undergoing or in need of refurbishment. There was no toiletries in the pool showers - the containers were all empty.

We asked for a second chair in our room on the day we arrived and again on the next 2 days, the chair never appeared. The receptionist said she had passed the message on. The bathroom had no working ventilation - we reported this when we arrived but nothing was done. The seal on the shower screen was faulty so no matter how careful we were the water went all over the floor making it slippery, again we reported it and nothing was done. Overall, not what we were expecting.

Convenient stay when arriving by train, pool a plus

Very convenient for train station. Historic centre 20 minute walk away. NB if using the tram, note the lines you need are underground. Nice pool & sauna (not huge but adequate) Really excellent breakfast with courteous helpful staff.

A map could have been offered at check-in. It was not made clear that the city tax also had a charge for the room chocolates applied. If you don't want the charge for these, you may need to say so! The pool is unattended. It was meant to open at 6am but no lights were on - switches nowhere to be seen - meaning two people swam in the dark, not ideal. The hotel is strong on its green credentials - which is a good thing - but it does mean little extras may be missing unless asked for.

What’s not to like the location right across from the front of the Antwerp train station with a view of the Ferris wheel lite up every night. Brilliant, we had no expectations and the room was great , really functional for a 5 night stay. Super accessible to evening dining and day excursions whether walking the streets, trains to wherever you want to go. Laundromats and groceries stores all right there.

No complaints would stay again and look forward to another stay some time

I always stay here when in Antwerp, it's very comfortable, quiet and clean. Perfect location close to train station and public transport hub. The breakfast is wonderful!

Ok but could be better

Room was clean and comfortable

Rather impersonal hotel - little staff presence. TV didn't work, weather night 1 was the excuse, maintenance afternoon day 2 and not working night 2 and reception wouldn't pick up. Breakfast ran out of certain foods day 2, 45 mins before breakfast ended.

I liked a lot everything else but my room was far too hot

Breakfast was wonderful. I liked the swimming pool very much. The location is fantastic. The personnel was nice and helpful. My room was spacious and I got a stunning view from the window. The room contained a comfortable bed, a fridge, a coffee machine, a sofa, an armchair, a bathtub, a shower, bathrobes, actually everything you could hope for! Except the air-conditiong, see my other feedback.

I would have given 10, if the air-conditioning wasn't non-functional. When I arrived in the evening, the room was hot. I switched on the air-conditioner and it started to hum but the room didn't become any cooler. I left the window open for the whole night but it was still too warm the next day. Then I called the reception and they told me that the air-conditioning was not yet in function as it was still winter! The temperature in the afternoon was 24 degrees Celcius and the sun was shining brightly, so I don't think you can call that winter. As my room was facing south, they advised me to keep the curtains shut during the day, which I did, but next day the cleaners had opened them again. The person on the phone was nice and she even brought me a big fan, but of course a fan only makes the air move and not cool. I really suffered from the heat in the night during my stay. I had to sleep naked without a blanket and even with wet socks in order to be able to fall asleep. When you advertise that you have an air-conditioning, why on earth is it not available for the customers??

Location and view was excellent! The room was very clean and well maintained.

Some electricity outlets were not working. And shower cover didn't fully cover water from shower so the toilet and floor got wet. We could hear people walking and running hallways.(which we know it's difficultto fix since the buildingisn'tbrand new)

Could of been amazing but Spoilt by poor sleep due to pillows... shame

Poor Pillow choice, so didn't sleep well. Need to have hard and soft pillows, I tried all available and they were too hard. Bed too hard Hairdryer hopeless! Looked great as cord went inside it but lacked on performance, not hot actually hardly warm.

A disappointing choice

Very nice view from the room, comfy bed and super tasty breakfast. The price also seemed quite right.

Before arrival I received emails from the hotel stating that "exceeding your expectations is our top priority" and "We're counting down the days until your arrival, eagerly anticipating the opportunity to provide you with a truly memorable stay" hahaha! serious miss match with reality! Upon arrival we have been faced with a loooooong queue to check in. Just two desks working and dozens of guests standing and waiting impatiently. It took exactly 40 minutes before we got our turn! Nobody seemed to care or try to make sure all the people waiting in line were taken care of. This welcome did indeed provide me with a memorable experience, but a very negative one. In the "Superior Room" where I stayed the main lamp did not work, the bathroom had numerous yellowish stains in the grout and the shower head was falling apart. Also the coffee machine was strategically placed on the night stand right next to the pillows - probably so that you can make yourself coffee without even getting out of bed... definitely not a hotel I would recommend

Poor customer service experience.

I had been prompted to up-grade to a family room - and was given a different room and when I questioned it they simply moved me again to another room of the same design . The hotel could not offer any restaurant facilities on BOTH days of our stay and this is not advertised anywhere.

Very good, except for the reservation service

I had an unpleasant experience with the reservation service. I booked a Premium Room which included a view of Antwerp station. However after that I kept getting messages from the hotel to upgrade my room to a room with a view, at an additional cost. That was confusing. Although I asked several times for confirmation that I would get the room I booked (i.e. with a view), the reservations service said they could only confirm this on the day of arrival. No reasons given.

I regret that i was there , never again in Radisson Antwe!NOT clean and doesn't worth it !!So dirty

I paid well for three nights and staff were good especially Shamla , but cleaning wise was so unprofessional!! I stayed in room 824 cleaning man came twice , in two nights in raw he did not clean the floor he did not change the sheets coffee machine was dirty and the same old towels!!, for the Radisson reputation is so bad ! I told that to the manger she did not behave professionally with me , giving excuses of yeah ,maybe you did not notice and I will give you some points trying to makee silent, it is not absolutely about the money or the points them O can get whatever discount!! I said the because it is not the first time in Radisson! In Germany and Amsterdam Netherlands were totally different! Sad to write that but this is the reality!

Dirty floor and no new sheets and a dirty floor , really shame on the Radisson Blu management! Cleaning guy was so unprofessional, and the management trying to shut mouth with some points ! I don't need your points or money ! Be professional and behave well , at least for the Radisson name ! Staff reception were respectful but the management is ABSOLUTELY not okay !

Absolutely amazing!

Our stay in this hotel was an amazing experience all in all. The proximity from almost everything is really great. The staff are very hospitable. The breakfast buffet have plenty of options. The view from our hotel room is also great! I appreciate that they gave us our breakfast bag upon our early check out since we won’t be able to have our breakfast in the hotel.

The hotel was clean, right across the street from Central Station. The breakfast bar was plentiful and had great gluten-free options (important for allergy sufferers). The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

I requested a king-size bed and got 2 twin beds pushed together. They weren't even made up as one bed. I could clearly hear the people above me walking around with shoes on and the people next door speaking (in loud voices)

Amazing place to stay great atmosphere.

We had a problem with the freeze was not working manager straight away upgrade the room and taken care so well only bit more choice for the vegetarian in the restaurant. We had so lovely time and staff was so helpful too.

The location was so good it was in the central so train food place everything was so close and safe.
