Solid choice for a short stay in Antwerpen

The hotel is very clean, cozy beds, great loaction in the very center of the city, close to train and bus stations. Very good breakfast.

We have reserved the room with two beds, and the booking was confirmed, but on arrival the manager has told us that there are no twin rooms left as the hotel is full. We had two rooms booked and neither was with two beds. We have specifically demanded the two beds option, and it was the main reason of the hotel choice, so that was a bad surprise. We have asked for extra blankets, but the hotel only gave us extra sheets. The staff was very cold and said NO to any request. Also, we were given the room on the 1st floor and with the window open it was quite noisy outside.

Very good, comfortable, clean.

Location, clean, air conditioning very good, as we were in the hotel on the 29, 30, June and 1 July 2025, we could stay until 4pm on the reception area before travelling to Brussels Eurostar to London.

A minor thing - a bedroom for a couple could be a bit bigger.

Not happy

The location was great, close to the central station and all other amenities. The opera, zoo and chocolate nation are at a 5 min walking distance.

Unfortunately, my experience was not as comfortable as expected. The room was quite cramped, with hardly any space to store personal belongings. Additionally, the air conditioning was set to a two-hour timer, which meant it shut off repeatedly throughout the night. Given the warm temperatures and the lack of windows or other ventilation, this made the room very uncomfortable. I found it difficult to sleep, as I would wake up each time the AC stopped. Despite raising the issue with reception multiple times and requesting that the timer be disabled, no action was taken during my three-day stay. As a result, I was unable to get a proper night’s rest on any of the nights. Hence, rather than relaxing the trip became very tiring for me. The breakfast area was also very limited in size and could not accommodate all guests during busy hours. There appeared to be a shortage of both staff and food replenishment during peak times, which further impacted the experience. I hope you’ll take this feedback constructively and consider improvements in these areas for future guests.

Great location for train and city exploration

The location is a 10 minute walk from the Antwerp train station. I was a American hotel of course which had all the normal amenities expected. Staff was very good. Plenty of towels and bed comfortable. We only stayed one nite. The hotel is close to the main pedestrian walk to the old town so easy to see the sights. Really perfect location.

Taxi/Bolt could not find the hotel. Not hotel fault but on the way to make the train, bolt cancelled and we had to walk.

Excellent- the only hotel to stay in Antwerp for a short break

I travelled to Antwerp with my Mum. The hotel is in a great location. The staff were exceptional. So friendly and helpful. We can't thank the team enough. Ennis, Eloise and team all fantastic. The hotel has everything you need for a short break and the breakfast is wonderful. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for value and excellent staff.

No complaints, excellent hotel! Staff really do go above and beyond and spent time showing us maps and travel routes.

The hotel is located right inside the heart of the city, very well reachable by train or intercity bus. It is also easy to get through the city by bus or tram since the transport hub is right outside the hotel. Everything in the hotel feels new, clean. The hotel rooms are small, but well quipped. The bathroom is great with a spacious shower. Hotel staff is kind and helpful. And the breakfast included in all reservations even if basic is a really nice touch.

A very comfortable stay!

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was lovely and clean, shower pressure was wonderful, but mostly the pillows gave me the best sleep ever, I had to look for the brand and order some for myself!!

Sound proofing could be better, as you could doors closing from a few rooms down. Also, there wasn't much variety for the breakfast in my opinion, but what was served was actually tasty.

I would recommend this hotel.

Perfect central location-five minutes from the train station. We stayed in the HolidayInn Express for four nights. It was our base for Belgium vacation. We traveled to Brussels, Ghent and Brugge from Antwerp central. It’s easy and convenient. Also, the hotel is walking distance to Antwerp highlights, shopping and restaurants.

We liked everything. It’s affordable too. One day we came late for breakfast, but the restaurant employee brought us food anyway. It was unexpected and we really appreciated it.

Great Option.

Perfect location, easy walk to the train station and to tourist sites. Breakfast was an added bonus, lots of delicious options. Room was quite spacious, tea and coffee available in the room, nice and clean large bathroom.

Excellent value for money, clean, lovely breakfast, right near central train station and lots of shops restaurants etc. A special mention to the two reception staff we dealt with (my husband was admitted to hospital during our stay) they were excellent, caring and very helpful it was much appreciated.
