It was great and very enjoyable. Nice to have a one minute walk to the cathedral and city hall.

The location was perfect for a city trip to Antwerp. A quiet street right near the very centre of town. Breakfast was served by a very nice gentleman. Not extravagant but plenty and enough choice. Eggs were boiled to order and hot whipped milk to go with my coffee. I will go there again.

The stairs are steep and there’s no elevator. The person at the front desk carried the suitcase upstairs. So it was not a problem.

Excellent location in a home away from home

The room was beautiful, gigantic, a great hot tub. It’s like a small apartment in Brussels. Location is perfect.

We were the only ones in the hotel and at night there is no receptionist. You have a number to call if something happens, and nothing did happen and all was perfect, but it felt a bit daunting to be alone in the whole property.

Nevermind the stairs, this hotel is a GEM!

The room was spacious and there was adequate space to place bags and to use the lounge seating in the room. Location was quiet and the landmarks visible, especially through the skylights were great!

Only the stairs, spiral and normal, but the hotel website makes adequate warning of these. Baggage is carried to your room as needed and the central location totally offsets this drawback.

Lovely hotel

I was fortunate to get upgraded to a lovely big room in the attic. It was so comfortable. The hotel is in a terrific location (though taxis can't drive to it, so you do need to carry luggage a short distance). Very convenient for shops, restaurants, the cathedral, etc.

Very helpful staff on reception. Great location. Lovely atmosphere downstairs as you enter with relaxing classical music playing quietly and a nice area to sit and have a free coffee if you wanted. We had a small room but it was perfectly adequate for 2 nights. Very quiet considering the old town location.

The hotel is absolutely lovely, very spacious and decorated to a high standard. Situated in the heart of the fantastic city of Antwerp. The owner of the property was incredibly welcoming and had a real passion for the city, providing excellent tips to make a success of our stay.

it was very central, just a minute walk to the main cathedral and the main square in Antwerp. The room was large and comfortable.

Perfect place for central Antwerp exploring

Very welcome & accommodating hosts - Erik and his son. We were able to check in early & also leave our suitcases with them on checkout day. Delicious self service breakfast with fresh berries, yoghurt, eggs, pastries & croissants Very comfortable big beds Very quiet rooms

Very friendly service, excellent central location, good breakfast, a bit noisy at night.

The breakfast was very good and the location is excellent - right in the centre of the old town.

As our room faced onto the street it was very noisy on Friday and Saturday night with what sounded like non-stop revelery outside! If you book this hotel and that is likely to bother you I strongly recommend asking for a room that doesn’t face the street!

My room was quite dark - very ‘atmospheric’ lighting that was a bit impractical. Also the bar at the end of the street was very noisy all thro the night. Not the hotel’s fault of course.

Great stopover on a mini roadtrip

Great host, who gifted us a bottle of Cava for our wedding anniversary. Hotel is a great location in the historic centre, we had a super top floor suite. It was too cold and damp to enjoy the enclosed terrace, but it would be a great place to chill out in warmer seasons. Good secure underground parking in the Grote Mkt, €26 for 24 hours was a bit steep maybe.

Spiral staircase wouldn’t suit everyone and made it a bit difficult with luggage, but we coped ok!

Excellent location. Quiet. Owner was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an old building in an old part of town. Consequently not everything is in perfect shape. Everything was clean and functioned properly, but it is a little worn. But that didn’t get in the way of it being an excellent place to stay. Breakfast is OK, and it’s free if you book directly with the hotel.

A very pleasant stay in Antwerp!

Really good small hotel in the old town between the Grote Markt and the river. We travelled to Antwerp by train and the walk was very pleasant. Erik, on reception, was friendly and informative.
