We stayed for 4 nights. While the property itself is decent, our experience was heavily marred by inconsistent policies and poor communication regarding their eco-friendly "GREEN" policy. The hotel offers a GREEN choice option where guests can decline daily room cleaning in exchange for drink vouchers to use at the lobby bar. At check-in, we specifically asked the receptionist if opting for the green policy meant we could still request fresh towels and have our trash emptied. She assured us that this was fine. Here is how our 4-night stay actually played out: Day 2: Trash was emptied and fresh towels were provided, but no drink vouchers were left in our room. We had to go down to the lobby reception to ask for and collect them manually. Day 3: Neither towels were replaced nor was trash emptied, and once again, no drink vouchers were provided. When we approached the front desk, the receptionist on duty gave us a completely different story—stating that because we opted out of cleaning, nothing (including towel replacement or trash collection) would be provided. Day 4: Neither towels were replaced nor trash emptied, and again, no drink vouchers were provided. We approached the front desk, the receptionist on duty gave us the drink vouchers! (Again, story is different from Day 3!) This raises two major issues: 1) Lack of Internal Consistency: Every single day, the front desk staff gave us a different version of the hotel's policies. Staff members need to be aligned on basic operational rules so guests aren't given conflicting promises. 2) Poor Execution of the Green Initiative: What is the point of offering a GREEN program if guests have to walk down to the lobby and demand their drink vouchers every single day? If a guest hangs the green tag on the door, housekeepers should automatically leave the vouchers attached to the tag without requiring the guest to chase down management. Instead of feeling rewarded for choosing a sustainable option, we felt inconvenienced and frustrated by having to repeatedly ask for basic service and clarification. Management needs to properly train their staff on hotel policies and streamline the voucher distribution process for eco-conscious guests.

Good clean hotel within 3 minute walk of Antwerp Central station. Staff are friendly and willing to help. Rooms are clean, breakfast and restaurant choice is very diverse.

NH Collection Hotel Antwerp I recently stayed at NH Collection Antwerp Centre and unfortunately my experience did not fully meet the expectations one would have from a hotel of this standard. Upon checking into the room, I immediately noticed an used ear bud lying on the bathroom floor, which raised concerns about the thoroughness of the room cleaning and overall hygiene standards. Additionally, during breakfast I asked the chef/staff about the ingredients in the bread selection, specifically whether any of the 10–20 varieties contained eggs. Surprisingly, the staff were unable to confirm the ingredients. In today’s age—when many guests are health-conscious or have dietary restrictions due to allergies, vegetarianism, or religious preferences—it is quite important for hospitality staff to be informed about the ingredients in the food being served. While the location of the hotel is excellent and the property itself is well presented, greater attention to cleanliness and better knowledge of food ingredients by the staff would significantly improve the guest experience.
