SKIPR Hotel - adults only

Upon arrival, the check-in process was straightforward and the receptionist was very friendly. Our first impression of the hotel was positive; however, shortly after checking in we encountered an issue, as the rooms did not match how they were advertised.

Upon entering the room, we realised it directly faced an office building across the street with large windows. The photos on the hotel’s website and on Booking.com suggest a pleasant city view, but in reality people in the building opposite can look straight into the room. The bed is positioned directly under the window and faces outward, with the shower door directly behind it, which results in virtually no privacy. When we raised this with the receptionist, she confirmed that there is no protective film on the glass, meaning the room is fully visible from outside. As a result, we felt very uncomfortable and decided not to stay the night, instead moving to Hotel Julien nearby, which was lovely. Although the hotel eventually refunded our stay, this required multiple rounds of emails, customer service chats, and follow-ups. Overall, we wouldn’t recommend staying here until the hotel updates its photography to accurately represent the rooms.

The hotel was beautifully designed and absolutely spotless, with a free drink station offering delicious coffee and tea. The staff were incredibly kind, always ready to help, and provided amazing recommendations for nearby food and attractions. My room was spacious, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable, truly a wonderful stay!

The hotel is new. Everything very nice.

The only thing was not in form was the bed sheets. Quite old and dirty.

Room with HQ finishes and modern design. The slanted window offers an incredible unobstructed view.

Cleaning could be improved - room was a bit dusty and hairs / water in the bathroom.
