It was a joy to stay there.

A most unusual set-up. A period step-gabled terraced house in the historic quarter. Our room was actually two large rooms, modernised but with beamed ceilings, as well as a spacious shower room. Quiet neighbourhood because of car restrictions. The establishment, which also has a pretty garden, is run by San, a charming woman, who served up delicious and very imaginative breakfasts which were more than enough to set us up for the rigours of a day's sightseeing. She was most helpful and kind.

A hidden gem in Antwerpen

Friendly family owning the B&B that are taking good care of the guests and the accommodation. The B&B is located near the “old town” and there lot of small shops and restaurants near by. If you would like to go running in the morning it great to run along the river. Last but not least, the breakfast was just awesome!!

Everything: the house and the room are very cosy, the interior design is exceptional, wonderful combination of modern design in an ancient building. The location is excellent in a very nice and calm neighborhood. Very nice host, the breakfast is absolutely delicious!

Excellent as always

It was our second time here and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. The rooms are gorgeous, and the tub in the room is so welcome. The neighbourhood is also great for food and shopping. A quiet oasis in Antwerp.

San was a wonderful host, serving the most delicious breakfast I’ve ever eaten! The property was very central and the room was beautiful, so spacious, comfortable and clean with such amazing decor and luxury in mind. I would recommend staying at The Greenhouse for wonderful hospitality.

We stayed in the attic room. The top steps were a little tight so you had to bend down pretty low but it’s an old house. The room was super nice. The bathroom was huge and the shower was great. The WiFi worked great. The breakfast was amazing and the owner was so nice. It was an easy walk into the main center with lots of restaurants around. And Sushi the cat was a nice addition to the stay!

The room had an amazing bed and a lovely interior. I LOVED the house itself with its original tiling and wonderfully sunny breakfast room -- with a view on a romantic garden and a cat with a scarf to boot. The owner is lovely and makes great 3(!!) course breakfasts. Thank you for the amazing stay!

An exceptional property in a truly beautiful city!

San & Kohn are wonderful hosts at a truly beautiful property. They were warm, friendly hosts but without being invasive. The house is stunning, historic yet beautifully appointed and comfortable. Set in the heart of historic Antwerp, it is easy to walk everywhere and there is excellent shopping, great cafes/restaurants and bars around every corner. San told me it was a 'Village in the City' and she is so right. The breakfasts are superb, sadly I did not always have the capacity or the time to get through it all! If you get a chance to visit Antwerp, book The Greenhouse, you will not be disappointed!
