Read the Google reviews. Most bizarre experience I’ve ever had. I booked a last minute stay with this accommodation and had asked about luggage storage. I didn’t receive a response, so called the accommodation when I arrived 30 mins before check-in and the access code didn’t work yet. I asked if it would be possible to give access or send somebody over, the woman started yelling at me and forcing me to cancel my reservation. I spent 3 hours trying to sort the situation out with Booking, but long story short they forced me to cancel the booking, so I was left outside with all my luggage as a woman solo traveler. Honestly still shocked from this situation, I just asked a very common question and for some reason triggered a tsunami of fury. I can’t imagine ever treating customers this way, but if you read their reviews on other platforms (they go by “Logies Klooster” on google) it seems I’m not the exception.

We would actually like a refund as our sleep was dreadful on a sofa.

Nice room. However it was falsely advertised. We slept on the sofa as the bed is up in a loft. To get to it, you must climb up a ladder not a stairs. This is NOT in the room photos.

Falsely advertised as the bedroom is in the loft. Obviously they knew that this is a problem as the sofa was already made up as a bed. Not convenient when one person is sleeping and another person wants to use the facilities we paid for.

A perfect small place to stay in Antwerp

Zero noise isolation, rude host, poor experience.

The location is a good, and having a lounge/kitchen downstairs (shared) is a nice feature.

The reviews about the floors / hearing everything is spot on accurate. The host claims this is part of the “charm” but it really isn’t, these are not old/antique floors, they just have been installed (very) poorly with absolutely zero noise isolation. We heard the couple above all night and they were clearly not shouting, just talking at a normal level and walking around as carefully as possible, though it sounded like they were in our room + an elephant was walking above. To top it off, there was no hot water in the evening and the host was not responsive till next morning, despite messaging on booking.com + WhatsApp. The host then questioned if I had turned the taps ‘the right way’ - extremely insulting. There is a kitchen and living room downstairs - while there at about 11pm, we closed the blinds for privacy from street, however a host arrived and said we were not allowed to close the blinds - how insane! In summary, choose another place if you want to avoid all these issues.

Impecable!

What an amazing stay! We would definitely come back and stay here again and we hope Dante would still be there as he played an integral part in making our trip awesome. We stayed in the loft apartment as there were three of us (it can comfortably fit four). It was super clean, had all the amenities (coffee machine, pots and pans, cutlery, hair dryer, dish washer etc) and was very very well located. It was a 15 minute walk from the tourist attractions but also a few minutes walking from a very nice shopping area. Dante was very helpful in recommending all the restaurants and hidden gems. If we needed anything he was contactable via WhatsApp and responded very fast. It was honestly a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Antwerp. Oh it was great bang for you buck!

Comfortable and secluded residence in the town centre.

Full of character and charm, the 1880 residence was the ideal base for our weekend of gallery visits. The highlight of the room was the bed, which was beyond doubt the comfiest we’d ever experienced. The coffee machine was a nice touch, and the window opened onto the back gardens of Antwerp with birds flitting past.

Honestly could not fault it, so I won’t try.

Really like these apartments, interesting layout, they have individual kitchen and shared kitchen and lobby at ground floor.

TV did not work and it was small, it wasn't connected to anything I could not use it. There were no forks, spoons in our kitchen

Big and nice room with an excellent location

Big room with modern bathroom in a nice house right at the heart of Antwerp, in a central but very quiet street. Both the room and the kitchen on the ground floor have the equipment for making tea and coffee. Communication with the owner was very easy and effective. Definitely recommended for a city trip to Antwerp.

The perfect place to call home while exploring Antwerp!

My husband and I didn't want to leave this property. It truly is a little oasis in Antwerp. The location is perfect, the bed and bedding is so comfortable that it pained us to get out of bed in the morning, the room is very spacious with all of the amenities you could possibly need, and it was incredibly quiet at night. The staff is wonderful offering the best recommendations on where to go, eat, and how to best enjoy Antwerp. Would absolutely stay here again!

Welcoming stay, good sleep and great location!

Super friendly staff. Felt very welcome. Antwerp is a beautiful city to visit and the location was perfectly close to the station and restaurants/bars/cafes. The place was very neat and the linen was soft. Bed too was very comfortable.

Heerlijke locatie. Gezellig, netjes, een zalig bed.. Ik hoop alleen dat ik mijn onderburen niet tot last was omdat de vloer nogal kraakte als ik liep. Ik heb genoten van mijn overnachting en kom zeker terug.

De locatie van het hotel is echt super gelegen in het centrum van Antwerpen.

De bediening om de autogarage te openen is qua handleiding niet goed beschreven. We hebben hier veel gezeur door gehad en vertraging opgelopen. Deze bediening werkt als je ineens alles goed afhandelt. Dus de handleiding heeft een update nodig.

Erg fijne locatie met veel potentie

De locatie was top! Een fijne kamer met goed bed. Daarnaast was ook de koffie op de kamer goed. Fijn dat er last minute een parkeerplek geregeld kon worden.

Het onderhouds- afwerkingsniveau was matig. Een kapotte spiegel, rommelig tegel- en kitwerk. Maar ook de schimmelvlekken op de vloer zijn niet fris. Als dit wordt bijgewerkt gaat de kamer direct naar een 9. Daarnaast ontbrak een waterkoker voor de thee en waren de melkcups ruim over datum.

Schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage

Das Hotel funktioniert Kontaktlos. Die Anleitung zum Check In war ausführlich und ausreichend. Leider musste man den Parkplatz relativ kompliziert dazubuchen. Dieser ist zwar zentral und nah am Hotel aber extrem klein und eng ( nur für Kleinwagen und/oder gute Fahrer geeignet). Das Zimmer war modern und schön eingerichtet. Eine kleine Kaffeemaschine wsr vorhanden. Das Zentrum ist fußläufig zu erreichen.
