A waste of money

Nothing other than the lady how first greeted me, but this was the only good thing.

The atmosphere, the room, the bed….it was so bad, i didn’t even stay the night.

Very average would not stay there again I’m afraid .

Good location friendly staff that was all ok .

The rooms were very basic with a lot of things not working like some lights and shower was cold got it like warm after 15 mins . My radiator was not on so room was cold so not pleasant .

At £42, I wasn't expecting the world and I didn't get it. But, it's still ok to stay at.

No breakfast was included, as your question suggested, but I wasn't expecting any. The bar downstairs was great. Reasonably priced drinks. Good bar staff. Bed in room was comfy.

The TV wouldn't tune into any main channels (BBC 1, 2, ITV 1, Channel 4, 5 etc). I could only get QVC 1(And 2), with a smattering of other channels that are no good to man nor beast on freeview. I did reinstall the channels no less than twice, with a total reset at one point, with little success. Back to the QVC channels again. Still, I bought a nice Juicer... The showers still represent an annoying problem. You need to be a physics engineer, or a Quantum genius, to work out how to get a decent temperature out of them. At least 15 minutes until I could get from freezing, to scalding, to freezing again....then micro touches availed me with a modest temperature to wash in.

Well located and friendly place to stop

Room was very clean and tidy. Everything was in perfect condition. Beds were very comfy, shower was really good and there was plenty of space to put things away if you wanted too. Easy access to main town and beach. Downstairs was the pub – staff very welcoming and helpful. Easy check in / out. Can park in their own car park but if that is full, plenty of street parking as well as on the sea front. Was very impressed with my stay - plan to use it again

The slight negative was the view - or lack of it, as all you could see through the window was the outside wall of the next room!

Glad we only stayed 1 night as got very little sleep due to heat in the room and uncomfortable bed

The location was good as only a 5 min walk to sea front. It was pet friendly. Free car parking at back of hotel, only a few spaces though.

It was like walking back into the 1970s. The room, furniture and bathroom were dated. The bed was very uncomfortable and creaked and groaned every time you turned over. The radiator was on full and we couldn't turn it down or off as the thermostat controls were broken. Had to have window open to try and cool the room down, but we overlooked a busy road junction and traffic noise kept us awake. No wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes. Very basic furniture and not a very welcoming room. Shower had a curtain rather than a screen and a very high step up into the shower cubicle.

The jacuzzi style bath is quite high so maybe difficult to climb inside to shower. Especially if tall. Outdated furnishings and stained carpet.

A bargain

A no frills stay that delivered exactly what we expected. 2 adults, 2 children and a dog for one night while we travelled home and wanted to stay somewhere to break up the journey. The room was spacious and clean.

The beds and bedding looked old and not ironed. we only stayed in the room for 2 hours from 1.15pm until 3.30pm and left so didn't stay at all

Location very close and within walking distance to the beach Tea and coffee making facilities provided although not advertised on website

- The mattress on the bed was not fit for purpose. Could feel the springs through it. Needed to sleep on a towel to help. - Even after 10 mins of running the shower the water never got hot barely like warm and only just bearable to wash in - The water pressure was so low could not even wash soap off body when showering - Whilst there the power went off to the lights although the TV still worked. Didn’t come back on - Parking for the place seemed to just have old cars being stored in it up on jacks or under covers so no space for paying guests.

Cheap for a reason.

Friendly staff. Room was clean. Quiet, even though a pub was downstairs. Fabulous location, five minutes walk to the beach. No food available. But plenty of places to eat everywhere.

Shower was cold, no hot water at all, hardly any water coming out of the shower head. It also gets stuck , and very difficult to turn off. No wardrobe to hang clothes. Half a toilet roll. Beds uncomfortable. Needs badly updating. Its literally somewhere to sleep. That's it.

Not really suitable for a woman to stay there alone. A bit too rough and ready.

The man in reception was kind and helpful the room was a reasonable size, there was a kettle and some milk, coffee and tea bags there was a bar of soap in the bathroom. the room was clean

the bedding was very poor, i was shocked when i saw how drab and dated it was, and the duvet and pillows were poor quality.. There was no chair so no where to sit . The room (9) was very close to cross roads with traffic lights, of there was a lot of noise of vehicles starting off, The bathroom had a small woven bathmat, unsuitable for a bathroom. The shower ,as most people have commented, was weak and the shower curtain clung to you as you tried to shower. The sink drained very slowly, possible blockage.

The manager was very rude, Didn’t even acknowledge us on arrival. The towels in the room were dirty, had to request clean ones. The bedding was all creased, looked like it had already been slept in, had seen better days, one of the wall lights was hanging off. There was no wardrobe or anywhere to hang our clothes. The bathroom was very old and dated, no where to put your things in the shower. The bedside tables were all old and strained. The cups were dirty, had to wash them before we could use them. The bathroom needed completely taken out, dirty all around the grouting

Nice little quirky pub that is a stone away from the beach, staff lovely

Tv needs to be updated as hard to get channels working, need more of selection for coffees/tea in morning. Mattress fantastic but bedding let it down stains on comforter and last one shower more like a little drizzle sous something that needs to be sorted as was like staying in a caravan.

Friendly Inn atmosphere, spent all first evening having a laugh with the locals, drank too much cider, fell fast asleep in comfortable bed in an airy room. Bar staff were perfect.
