Excellent

The room was very clean and comfortable. Up two flights of stairs (no lift) but worth it for the view from my window of the sea and the pier. Breakfast was generous, freshly cooked (no rubbery buffet bacon!) and delicious. Lots of options if you don't want the traditional full English. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located close to the seafront, but up a fairly steep hill. Not a problem for me but some might struggle. No evening meals in the hotel, but not a problem with so many restaurants and takeaways within a short walk. Even on a Thursday evening in February I had plenty of choice.

Value for money.

Rooms very clean, warm and spacious. The weather was bad but there were hotel umbrellas to use, which was a nice touch. I didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that.

Not applicable. the Host was very informative and accommodating so no issues with our stay. Parking may prove an issue for some but we found on road parking and left the vehicle there all weekend.

Weston at its best

We had a well-appointed room overlooking the bay (Room 2), large comfortable bed, well equipped. Everything we needed for our 2-night stay. Iron and ironing board, hair dryer, extra heater, sufficient storage space, a desk and small table, two armchairs, pleasant lighting, good shower. Breakfast was plenty and excellent quality, with yoghurts/cereals plus a full English or whatever you would want to choose. It was quiet, being in a cul-de-sac, but just a 5 to 10 minute stroll into town / to the seafront. Even out of season there were a good number of different eateries to choose between in the evening, and the hotel and room were beautifully warm on our return. Downstairs is a pleasant sitting area with a few board games, comfy and warm too. Staff were so friendly and chatty, and professional too. A great find. Would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel for stop over or holiday base.

We had room number 2, which was of good size, well equipped and laid out, with a very comfortable bed. The view was beautiful over the bay and the hotel was fantastic. The lounge/bar area was comfortable and homely, along with a good selection of drinks. Breakfast was tasty and cooked to order with attentive care, over all we only stayed the one night as a stop over, but now considering spending a few more days there next year. Thank you.

Andrew was very welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable and everything was in working order. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast with a friendly service. We appreciated the close proximity of the seafront and the town centre.

Room was spotless, the breakfast was excellent and very good choice. The bacon was tasty, thick slices with all the needs for a full English. Extra special treats in the room like Two bottles of water, a bag of pop corn, kettle crisps, plenty of tea, coffee etc on the drinks tray with biscuits.

How friendly and comfortable the experience was. Great to get free parking, great bed and nibbles with tea/coffee.

Pretty much everything was good.

A small improvement suggestion. I was given a family triple for single. I stayed in the single bed which looked directly onto the double. I'd recommend a curtain to give a small amount of privacy.

The location of the hotel was ideal for exploring Weston Supermare. Andrew and all the team at the Queenswood were fantastic and extremely accommodating during our stay.

Excellent and definitely coming back

Beautiful property , very friendly and polite staff , excellent customer service . Room was very clean and with a beautiful sea view , very comfortable bed , bathroom was spacious and clean . Breakfast was good and has vegetarian options . Very cosy atmosphere, the place is family run and it really shows as we felt like home Also is minutes away from the seafront and local amenities All in all we had a wonderful time and definitely staying again next time we are in the area

Awful, disgusting, waste of money

Everything it was scruffy, dirty ,old fashioned, not value for money, bed need replacing, there was rust all over radiator, hairs in bed, dust everywhere. Paint on tea spoons, dirty cups, don't waste good money here ,I would class it as a hostel not a hotel.

I was very impressed with the QUEENSWOOD HOTEL in Weston super Mare. The owner Andrew & his wife Beth, run the hotel, as they have a young baby it was Andrew who arranged everything to do with my stay. I am very lucky and have travelled a fair deal & stayed at many hotels. I can honestly say the QUEENSWOOD HOTEL is of a very high standard. In so many ways, Andrew & Beth plus staff go out of their way to ensure guests are happy, relaxed & enjoying their stay at the QUEENSWOOD HOTEL. the breakfast was enormous hot & freshly cooked served by happy cheerful staff. The room I had was excellent large, & immaculate ! I would give this hotel 100% or 10 out of 10 for a lovely friendly welcome, clean, comfortable rooms. plus a comfortable lounge & bar area with board games etc. Well done Andrew & Beth.

Maybe location not the best situation for anyone nor able to walk very far as it is up a steep slope, I managed okay & I am a pensioner.

A really lovely, comfortable hotel - will definitely book in again when we next come to Weston.

Very friendly manager and staff. Extremely comfortable and attractive rooms with sea views. Very well equipped, with generous provision of crisps, biscuits, water, as well as tea and coffee. Lovely bathroom with a great shower and quality ungruents. Beautifully cooked breakfast. It was good to have free parking in the town. Really central location. The manager recommended nearby Michaelangelo’s for dinner and it was excellent - superb dishes, excellent service and a great vibe.

Perfect location. Very smart little hotel. ..

The hotel has a few parking spaces and was lucky enough to get on the driveway. Great location couple roads away from sea front so easy walk down hill. Wonder very friendly and helpful and let us keep car in drive after we checked out. Room was very clean and tidy and had food facilities. Would definitely go back.

If we hadn't if been able to park on drive in not sure where you can park as narrow roads and could not see any available parking close by except maybe public car park down and round the corner?
