So on arrival I was talking to a efficient receptionist, I ordered breakfast and got my room key. It wasn't a negative experience but I could've found it a little more welcoming but not bad The room was quite small, I had a double room with a double bed. Had everything I needed, the close bars were quiet or quieting down by 11pm. I found it easy to nod off and had a pretty good sleep. Breakfast was an additional cost, service was good, food was reasonably good quality and if I could find anything to criticise all I'd say is it might be better if tea, coffee and fruit juices were self serve and not limited and on request, despite this I didn't find I was unsatisfied. It cost 114 pounds for the night with breakfast a fair 10 pounds. I don't find this a excessive amount compared to local hotels at similar prices.

Room was very small for what is a double. First point of contact on arrival wasn't as welcoming as I'd normally expect from a host, it felt like they were too busy for friendliness.

Location

The room itself was extremely small with not much room at all to move around, the bed was also very small not sure this can be classed as a ‘double’, I would say a small double at a push There was also an overwhelming smell of damp and mould in the bathroom
