Okay if you’re desperate!
Biscuits in the room were a nice touch. Price and location was great. Bed comfy and everything was clean.
No teaspoon with the coffee and tea stuff! Window was jammed open about 8inches (January!). Room was warm though due to heating and it was late so I put up with it.

The faulty birchfeild dump
I liked nothing it was filthy disgusting i wouldn't even put a rat in there it's that bad they don't speak good English talk about u in there native tongue then lie when u ask for ur money back don't stay here it's rotten
On book.com it looked clean in iting my husband thought it looked nice so booked it we were on a budget from what it looks like to what I got I was physically sick the staff couldn't speak no e Eglish wouldn't give names when asking for money back laughed and said through broken English haha u won't get that back I'm devastated it was .y honey moon on a budget

Ok no real dramas but location to centre makes this a one off for us.
Room was adequate for a budget hotel, big comfy double and a just as comfy single.
Value for money at the lower end of room rates.
Location was a brisk walk to the centre and parking on the main road opposite was limited to 3 hr max Mon-Sat 8am-6pm Sunday free, so time your arrival accordingly and book a taxi if you plan on visiting the centre, its ok £6 either way and a great local service.
Hotel was dated and in need of some TLC, i understand they cater for the lower end customer but a good deep clean and care of the rooms wouldn't go amiss (lamp was broken, curtains were off their rails, only one loo roll, shower temperature control was either volcanic or Baltic,

In essence the hotel has the potential to be a pleasant place to stay, but like most seaside towns up and down the country has suffered due to lack of investment, there was a perfectly situated lower floor Bar that could make a roaring trade with a bit of ideas and forethought, i get the impression the owners / management are happy catering for the less fortunate, migrants and holiday makers on a tight budget, which is fair enough if that's their business model.

Okay comfortable bed and the location was accessible and easy.
Staff made me feel uneasy, not enough essential items in the room.
Lift was not accessible for wheelchair users and neither was the entrance as no ramp.
Building needs to be refurbished, looks like their stuck in the 50s.
Breakfast bar was closed off, are you serious its 10am?
Reception desk not open unless they've got a booking and that's 3pm onwards.

Been there many times before with previous owners. But unfortunately this time with whoever took over, the place is a dump!! Wires exposed in the lift, no shower door, not even the sea view I paid for.

Excellent cheap & cheerful hotel.
The hotel was good, the staff were friendly and, whilst not directly on the sea front, it was a short walk to the main beach and pier.
The room and en-suite bathroom were bright and clean.

I’m sorry, there was nothing to like about this property.
Shabby, not particularly clean. I would not rate this as a one star let alone three star. Two families booked in for three nights over Christmas. One family refused to stay even one night and booked out straight away. The second had to stay one night but had to find other accommodation on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Which basically says it all. We could not stay sat this place. We will be looking for some kind of refund.

It was handy for the concert venue
For £40 a night it did what it said on the tin- very basic - I badly in need of a revamp - very basic rooms - duvets as thick as a hand towel - no hand towels and don’t even ask about the shower!

Great value for what we paid
For the price we paid, it was good value for money. Location was central a nd walking distance to town. We had a lovely twin sea view which was nice.
The front door was ajar when we got back late at night. Anyone could just walk in off the street.

The property was located just off of all the shops in Weston and had the facilities we wanted. It had a private bathroom and towels (although only enough for 1 person) as well as some soap.
It was very rundown, the sink was chipped and the bin had no lid where it had been snapped off, there was a stain on the bedding and lots of chips in the walls as well as a large stain on the carpet. We were in a room next to someone and the walls were so thin we could hear his television all night long, as if it was on in our room. We also got there at about 9:15pm, the staff were not there although promised to be there until 10pm. We called a number and finally got a code to get our key, but it felt very impersonal and we did not see a single member of staff whilst we were there. Bed was also very very creaky.

- whole outer building didn’t look in good shape
- carpets were old and stained
- reception smelt of cigarettes
- bed sheets weren’t buttoned up
- old water left in kettle (about 1/3 full)
- bin was un-emptied
- draws didn’t work
- no plug sockets next to bed
- no usb charging point
- toilet was stained brown
- ceiling was mouldy
- behind the furniture and wall decor, was mouldy
- toilet had a constant refilling noise (had to fix it myself it was that bad)
- bathroom light didn’t work
- radiator was loud
- windows were absolutely beastly (expected due to hotel placement by the sea but they looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years)
- very creaky floor boards
- tap on bath fell off
- dusty walls
- cobwebs
- says it has WiFi but it didn’t reach our room and we were directly above the reception were it was full bar

The fact that we could have two rooms near each other.
It was mostly un manned.
There was no information on door code or Wi-Fi , I had to ask for it.
The bathrooms were dirty, mould around shower, hair in plug hole. Chipped sink, dirty mirror, dirty handprint on wall and blood smear on door.
The bed was uncomfortable and was ripped and torn.
The bedding was not ironed and the quality of the pillows and mattress was not great.

Tiny room. Bay window was completely blocked out by an old wardrobe, so no natural light could get in.
The solitary pillow went completely flat, it was pointless having it.
No towels on arrival.
The bathroom was vile. Taps covered in limescale, and the bowl had spat toothpaste still in it. The plug hole and surround had green and black mould.
The shower cubicle glass/plastic was covered in limescale and the joints/sliders were full of black mould.
The whole room was so dated, along with the decor!

The room was clean at least. But with a hotel this run the rest of the stay had to be good! The Cafe Mambo party on the beach didn’t disappoint!
Run down hotel, empty bottles of vodka in the communal toilets. Think the staff had even been driven to drink.

Room 308
We paid for a sea view room but was put in room 308 which is definitely not a sea view room. The man on reception couldn't speak English but as he was only there till 6 o'clock from 3 it doesn't really matter. Was woke up at the crack of dawn with men running up n down the stairs shouting she's goin to the police bro!! Reception was all locked up so couldn't speak to anyone.

Bed was comfy. Shower was good, apart from the cubicle being broken and replaced with a shower curtain. Bed was comfy.
On arriving, we saw there was tinsel hanging up in the bar area at the front of the hotel, and that there was 2 dead hanging baskets in the entry up the steps to the main door, and there was a metal cover that was loose, and could have really hurt someone if they had open footwear. The lift had exposed wires where the buttons are, which my friends 2 year old could have put his fingers in, the 9 year old asked why someone wouldn't fix it as it looked dangerous. Unfortunately the 2 rooms we had booked weren't clean. The doors to our rooms were disappoiningly dirty before we got in, which was a shame, already felt like we were in for a not so pleasant stay. The taps were extremely dirty in both rooms. Seems areas hadn't been wiped for a while as there were levels of dust you wouldn't expect, we took photos. My friend had a room for 3 as she has 2 children, her 2 year old boy found a screw and rawl plug exposed and pulled it out which made a tall mirror rock from side to side. Her window wouldn't close, so she had to block it with the bedside drawers and a chair to keep him as far away from it as possible-which was worrying as she was on the 4th floor. Also their door wouldn't lock, it was a yale lock so it did close, but the deadlock button wouldn't work, again comprising the safety of all of them especially curious children. Reception was closed when it came to bedtime when our friend had noticed the deadlock and window were broken, so she had a really unsettled night as the issues couldnt be rectified. Our shower cubicle had a door missing, which was replaced by a shower curtain so the floor got quite wet even though it was placed over the gap properly, and there was no bath mat so i had to step out onto a very slippy lino floor. My friends bath was so dirty she nor her children wished to use it nor have a shower as there were hairs in it.

Am not normally the person to moan but i just cant help it this time....There was no nice warm welcome and the rooms well what can i say my family room should of be a deluxe well if it was then i really wouldn't want to stay in a different room. The tv wasn't working, the curtains was held up with a screw, the pillows was mouldy, it was very poor i am glad we only stayed there for the 1 night. Also once we checked in there was no way of speaking to someone as there was no one around at all. Am gutted i didnt take photos
