Friendly, great location and value

Bed was comfy, everything you needed provided, great location and owner was friendly and made you feel welcome. Value for money

Was on the top floor so too many stairs which was not good, would have liked it more on first floor. Little too much in room made it a little cramped

Excellent all round.

Steve was very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The rooms were clean. The bedding was warm. The towels provided were excellent and of good size. The kitchen in our suite was very well equipped.

Super comfy bed with good quality bedding. Great view of the beach.

Electric shower, ran cold a couple of times during showers. Several flights of stairs up to the room, which I don’t remember being clear in the proper details.

To be honest, that’s only a couple of small things apart from that we really enjoyed the day

We managed to get the one with the balcony, which was a great view to look at the sea

There’s not much I dislike about the property and our stay, There’s only two things that come to mind is the amount of stairs to the balcony room and when I wanted a cup of tea the cups weren’t very clean and I had to wash them.

An excellent hotel

The room was very clean, and comfortable. It had great facilities and the staff were very welcoming. We had a lovely beach view and the grand pier is only a few minutes walk away. Our kids absolutely loved it and so did we.

A Charming Stay by the Sea

The hotel is in an amazing location—just a few minutes’ walk from the Grand Pier. As someone who loves Victorian terraces, I absolutely fell in love with the beautiful communal lounge. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Steve, who took the time to explain everything to us upon arrival. There were no issues at all with arranging a cot and extra bedding for the spare bed, which was much appreciated. Our suite consisted of two rooms and a WC/shower. It comfortably accommodated two adults, a toddler, and our young daughter. Everything we needed was already provided, and I’m sure Steve would have been happy to offer anything else we might’ve needed. One lovely touch was the toys left in the lounge for children to play with—such a thoughtful detail that kept the kids entertained. There were also beach toys available to use free of charge, which was a nice bonus. I would definitely recommend staying at The Sunfold. British seaside towns deserve more attention. Even though Weston-super-Mare may have passed its heyday, there’s still plenty to see and do. I truly hope that with a warming climate, more people will rediscover the charm of our lovely coastal towns.

Very nice Apartment well located and nice hosts

The Apartment was very tidy and well equiped, we missed nothing. The Apartment was located perfectly at the beach and also near the train Station (we used the train to visit Bristol and Bath).

The weather was very hot when we stayed, and unfortunately the Apartment was hot too. The windows could only bei opened a few centimeters and so it was not really possible to get some air in.

Great place for this money

It was a nice holiday. Near the sea and the town centre. It was great to walk along the embankment. And listen to the sound of the sea from the rooms. Honest owner, I forgot my airpods, but he sent them to me by post. Thank you very much!

Good location to walk into town. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Shower and bathroom was nice.

There was not enough hooks and no draws. So not enough places to put stuff. Could not see out of the window as it had been frosted. Room quite dark. No carpet on the floor.

Welcoming, cosy, family/homely

We spent an amazing weekend at the Sunfold and will come back, we highly recommend this place! Steve was very welcoming and helpful, as we were using public transport and could leave our bags. Lana, Jasper and Teddy were great too. The building is very cosy and clean, and we felt like home. We booked the room with view on the sea and it was so nice despite the strong winds. The kitchenette was sufficient to prepare our (simple) meals and eat while enjoying the view. The location was great, we visited Weston, and we went to Brean Down (bus 20, bus stop very close) and Cheddar Gorge (bus 126, Interchange, close to Tesco superstore).

Relaxing break sitting on the balcony with breathtaking views.

The location is excellent walking distance to bars and restaurants and the sea.The host was so welcoming and very helpful helped us with our luggage and certainly went the extra mile.The view from the studio with the balcony was fabulous well worth climbing the stairs!

The television reception is not great but who wants that when you have such a wonderful view of the sea.

Comfortable & good facilities, but thin walls and 4 floors of stairs further top rooms

Great location, very comfortable beds and well equipped for self catering if you need it. Great host

Walls and very thin, one night there was a couple with a crying baby (not complaining about the baby, they cry) but we could hear everything, fortunately then were only there and night. The only other thing is that we were on the top fourth floor, a long way up and a log of people would struggle with that, some wouldn't even be able to go it - perhaps some warning should be given to warn people about managing the stairs. We enjoyed our stay but would look elsewhere if we came for a break again

Great stay at Sunfold

we were upgraded to a family room. We had a sea view which was fantastic. The room was spacious, loved the bathroom, again was spacious.

The only thing we didn't like was the pillows, they were too soft but that is just a personal thing.

A great little studio in a good location.

The self catering studio we stayed it was really nice. It has been well planned to include everything you need for a short stay. It has a great little bathroom as well. We were able to park outside on the car park, which was very helpful. The host was very welcoming and informative. There is a very nice view inland from the window. The location is excellent, just across the road from the sea front and a ten minute walk to the restaurants and shops. We even borrowed a couple of deckchairs and there were buckets and spades to borrow as well. We had a lovely stay and would definately return. Thank you!

The bed is a little soft for our preference. Be aware that there area lot of stairs to this particular room, which we didn't mind but others may not like. This room is facing east, so could get very hot in the summer.

It was a very relaxing and enjoyable break.

The owner, Steve, was there to greet us and find out our needs and then was very helpful. Steve was there on sight and helpful concerning where to park our car if no place was available on sight. Also, Buses were easily accessed as we were on a main road.
