I was visiting the Weston General for 5 days as part of my medical studies and booked this room primarily for its proximity to the hospital. Little did I know how much of a hidden gem I had stumbled across!
From the moment I arrived, the owner "Demetris" was nothing but warm and hospitable and made me feel instantly at home, even personally preparing me breakfast over several mornings when the restaurant was closed to the public. Likewise, his staff were just as attentive and spared no expense in making my stay most comfortable. Their combined passion for the food and wine that they serve is a rare thing, indeed. Many thanks for your hospitality!
The room was quiet, spotlessly clean and well equipped with amenities, including high speed internet. Location wise, this is probably one of the most pleasant parts of Weston Super Mare, being a short walk from the beach and surrounded by quiet streets, walking paths and a couple of beautiful old churches. Though I cannot say much regarding the rest of WSM, I would happily return JUST to stay here again.
Do yourself a favor and make a booking, as I am confident that you shall not regret it!
Perhaps having a desk or some sort of writing surface in the room would have been welcome, but honestly, how many "business travelers" are coming to WSM? This is scraping the bottom of the barrel for the sake of filling this text box.
In reality, I had zero issues during my stay and would highly recommend this room as your first choice.
