Beautiful, peaceful and amazing location

Beautiful, peaceful room in an amazing location. Really friendly welcome and great facilities in the room - proper coffee machine and pods, amazing shower. Honestly couldn't have asked for more, felt really special and really good value for money. We also loved exploring Uphill: the beach and Walborough nature reserve as well as the Norman church.

Very comfortable stay. Parking could be a bit hit and miss

Very modern, luxurious feel to the rooms. Very clean

Staff were a bit confused when we arrived to check in as if they weren’t expecting us. Parking was a not exclusive to the property so a bit hit and miss if you’d get a space.

A hidden gem! Go stay there!

Great room above an excellent Greek restaurant. Not noisy at all, and very clean and comfortable. A bit of a hidden gem. Plenty of parking just opposite on a free car park. They also do a lovely breakfast! We really enjoyed our stay. There is a pub 2 minutes away and you can walk to Weston along the beach. Also opposite a nature reserve with a beacon on top of the hill. We loved it ❤️

An excellent room for a short stay.

The rooms are upstairs above a Greek restaurant. Access is through the same door as the restaurant. We had a double bed bedroom overlooking the front for one night and it was excellent for our purposes. The room was warm, comfortable and hade everything we needed for one night. There is a TV, fridge with small milk bottles in and water. Tea/coffee machines and supplies were also available. The bathroom was clean, bright and big enough for two people. We didn't use the restaurant downstairs, but it looked very good. The beach is very close and there is a lovely café within a 150m that caters for dogs.

The parking is on road/parking bays with no security.

Excellent stay at Rooms at Uphill.

our stay at Rooms at Uphill was excellent. The staff were friendly, always helpful and smiling. Breakfast was very good and severed hot no issues. We booked a table for the evening meal and found the restaurant clean and good ambiance. the food was exceptional and severed in a professional manner. my wife complimented some of the dishes as some of the best we have had and i agreed. Rooms is just a few minutes walk to the beach and also there is the church on the hill for more energetic walkers, but not after the meal. i would say a very well done and would recommend Rooms at Uphill to everybody.

Perfect

A fantastic place! The rooms were spotless with comfy beds, a fridge, tea/coffee facilities and a lovely en-suite with a brilliant shower. We enjoyed breakfast outside in the sunshine, which was a perfect 10/10. The staff and owner were absolutely wonderful—so welcoming and accommodating. It’s clearly a favourite with the locals too, judging by the friendly waves from everyone passing by. Highly recommended!

A Hidden Gem with Fantastic Restaurant !

Great room and such a friendly owner. The staff are all lovely, and you’ve got to try the restaurant — real hidden gem, the food’s amazing, my top 5 on the list this year. I just amazed by the level of detail and attention that the everyone in the restaurant brings to people, they truly care about the every dish ! I only wish I had stayed longer to try more of the menu!

Overall pleasant stay

Really welcoming and friendly staff. The inclusion of milk, fruit and snacks with the room was a nice touch and the place was nicely decorated. The food in the restaurant below was delicious.

Just missing a little bit of attention with 2 of the 3 light bulbs in the main light not working and one of the two bedside lamps didn't work. The mattress would benefit from replacing or a topper as you could feel every spring which was a little uncomfortable.
