Wouldn’t want to stay again
Bed was comfortable. Fairly clean bar odd thing.
Awful night stays! Hotel was not as expected was left waiting at the door outside to check in, (in the rain) non existent reception just a (desk) bell for help doesn't work. Out room appears clean but had hairs in the bed and dirty blinds. The room was extremely hot. Was told heating couldn't be turned down. Couldn't have window open due to noise from outside. They didn't have any fans to provide. Had to ask multiple times for loo roll as non was in the bathroom. Then there was constant nose all night! Finally around 3/4am is quietened down only start again at 5.30am! It sounded like elephants up and down the starts and draws banging about our head. Someone also had tv blasting. Host said they couldn't do anything about it. Cancelled our plans for the sunday and came home as both my self and husband was extremely exhausted! Very unhappy as it was for valentine's and our time away was ruined. Would like to add the room would benefit from curtains to black out the room and add privacy rather than the blinds. Also the tv controls work for all rooms, so our tv kept being turned on and volume up

A clean and basic room with a very comfortable bed.
The room I had was very clean, but basic. The use of a kettle in the room with a supply of coffee/tea etc was welcomed, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Although the property location is on a main road, the noise was fairly low with only the odd passing siren causing a problem for me. The owner was extremely friendly when I checked in and out. The location of the property for access to the train station was very good.
The shower wasn't the best and had only medium water pressure, but was useable. The wi-fi was fairly weak and kept dropping out. It could have been due to my room location, I couldn't be sure, but it was a little frustrating.
