Very nice.

The location was very convenient. The rooms were spacious and clean with nice linens and comfortable beds. The rooftop terrace and pool was really lovely. Breakfasts up there was great. The staff are all very nice and attentive.

If you’re looking character and local decor, this is more sleek and modern, like hotel suites anywhere in the world.

The water pressure was low after a few days in the shower. I took off the shower head and it was full of organic debris. Once we knew that it was easy to clean out and worked perfect from there on.

We lost hot water on the last 2 days. The pool was quite cold despite it being advertised as heated. I’m not too particular about these things but it too cold to really enjoy.

The people were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely.

Bathroom shower water pressure wasn't great - couldn't wash hair (too much hair for the pressure '-). Toilets didn't flush well. Probably a city wide sewer issue. Beware of the stairs.

A great location in the heart of the vibrant, energetic, cultural and colorful city that is Oaxaca, Mexico!

The location near the Zocalo can’t be beat and the staff was highly attentive to our every need and request. Jorge and Margarita should be especially commended; although the entire staff was outstanding. The rooftop restaurant makes the stay here even more enjoyable.

Many of the rooms do not have windows to the outside which is unfortunate since the weather is one of the big draws to Oaxaca.

We stayed at Hotel Flor De Maria for 3 nights and wouldn’t rush back. I got food poisoning on the first night from the hotel restaurant. The electricity was out for one whole day during our trip. The wifi barely worked as well. Also no drinking water at all at the property and no hot water in our shower.

The location is located around the corner from to the Zocalo square with great amenities & friendly guest service. The kitchen staff was amazing, Jorge provided excellent food service & front desk with setting up private tour / airport transportation.

Excellent place and perfect location

Such a beautiful hotel with an amazing staff. Daniel and Macerena at the front desk, and Jorge serving breakfast. I just needed coffee from lots of travel and he happily obliged cup after cup. The room was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. Those pillows! I took a photo of the brand so I can buy them myself. This location will be my go-to every time I visit Oaxaca City.

I absolutely loved the property! Our suite was impeccably clean, comfortable and beds were very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous at all times. The breakfast was delicious as you get lots of options. I loved having a refreshing pool to use during the hot afternoons. Location is perfect as it’s located only 1.5 blocks from El Zocalo and around the corner from the Mercado. You can walk everywhere and I always felt very safe.

There is no elevator and lots of stairs but the staff is so helpful as they take all your luggage up those steep stairs.

Great food, filling portions and variety. Kind and helpful staff. A/c helped keep us cool (although it was only in one room it kept us cool with the weather outside 85-87 degrees F). Easy location only one block from Zocalo.

Breakfast area needs shade. Kitchen soap would be helpful.

Checks all the boxes

Wonderful small hotel in the heart of the city. Excellent location and choice for a family (the two bedrooms, one with a queen and the other with two twins, was very nice to have). The small but highly competent staff looked after us with traditional breakfasts, extra pool towels and arranging a private car to see the Mitla and Hierve el agua. The best thing, however, was the killer view from the rooftop lounge/pool area.

Toilet didn’t work properly- reported problem, not fixed instead had to MANUALLY push the float down to get toilet to fill Air conditioning- very noisy - reported problem, never fixed VERY NOISY - chairs made LOUD scraping noises - many guests / maids scraping chairs throughout the day - voices of guests / hotel staff very loud / audible

Staying here felt like work to insure we had what we needed, not a relaxing vacation.

The rooftop restaurant was very nice. The rooms were clean.

Restocking the room with essentials daily was hit or miss, we often did not have enough towels for everyone, toilet paper, Kleenex. Only 1 of the two bedrooms had A/C and none in the “living room”. The hotel ran out of water daily which means no water to wash with or flush toilets. The shower was often just a trickle.

Wonderful hotel with a pool in the center! Great Value!

The beds were very comfortable, the place was bigger than imagined, the staff was friendly, it was very clean and the maid service daily was wonderful and secure (leave them a tip at the end of your trip because they are exceptional). The pool was great for the kids and had a nice view and vibe in the evenings and water was nice and warm. The AC, mini fridge and microwave were perfect in the room. The location was ideal in the center of it all but super quiet at night for a good nights rest. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

The stairs when wet were dangerous. You must wear shoes coming down from the pool because even if you are careful, if your feet are wet or it’s raining, you will almost certainly fall. Also water pressure was a little low at times but overall great stay!!

Excellent location and value for 4 people for 5 nights!

The spacious suite was perfect for our girls trip of 4. Nice to have the extra kitchen space with couch for gathering. We used frig, microwave, and coffee maker regularly. Staff were great and the room service was outstanding. Loved the location!

Beds were a tad hard but I still sleep well, and having a king, and 2 queens was awesome! We did have to reset the toilet floater each flush - hassle, but minor.

The location was perfect for walkability. Staff are all exceptional. Our room was huge, clean and everyday service was so nice.

The restaurant could be open a bit later in the afternoon, into dinner. Their food was soo good, we would have loved dinner options.

perfect for families

Don’t let the entrace deceive you, its modern, quite and clean inside, big rooms, very clean & good location, the little roof top pool was nice to play in after a day of exploring.

The hotel needs to replace the bath towels, bathroom floor mat and hand towels, they are so old and thin and scratchy.

I really liked the location which is central to the Zocalo and Mercado Benito Juarez. The suite was very clean. Beds were comfortable. All in all a great stay and plan on returning.

Amazing, must stay!

Suites De La Parra exceeded our expectations in every way! The staff was super friendly and great. They were on top of our whole visit and really made every effort to accommodate us. The room was lovely and spacious. I would 100% recommend it for families or large groups. Also, the location was super central and convenient to get around.

Allright

The appartment was clean. The location is right at the center of the city. It makes parking difficult. Parking is not offered at the hotel or at a public parking, you will have to arrange that yourself.

Definately not a 5-star accomodation, more a 3-4 star accomodation. They supplied us with a bottle of water and coffee which was nice. The towels were stayned and there were hairs in the pool. Kitchen only had plates and some cutlery but no cutting boards or sharp knives to actually cut something. Employees were sleeping around the pool area.
