The whole apartment could use some fresh paint and some decorations on the wall. It looked dirty and bare Entrance to the property quite dirty.

This property was perfect for our group. Size was great, beds were comfy and location was amazing!

Check in process was easy and smooth. The host very responsive and accommodating.

The floors were made from a cheap material and were peeling. Walls could use a cleaning.

Great location with ample bedrooms for large groups, but needs some love.

The location was fantastic! Right in the heart of the city with Victoria street right around the corner. There was ample bedroom space for our large group.

Lots of stairs were challenging with luggage. It was hot in the apartment and when leaving the windows open at night either bugs flying in or loud noise from the bars across the street. The lights were out in the hallway on the ground floor leading up to the apartment. We ran out of toilet paper and had to buy some. There were pieces of the floor that were ripped up. The kitchen was extremely tight for our big group. And lastly my bed smelled like sweat…probably because it was so hot. The couch could use an update as well.

Enjoyable stat nonetheless

Accommodation was extremely wonderful. Location was central and spacious with many amenities including a washing machine and dryer which came in very handy. Owners were also very helpful when it came to any questions we had about the property. Would highly recommend and stay again if we are in Edinburgh!

Water heater was not working well and heat of the water was not consistent.

A lovely big old building with lots of character. The bedrooms were big and comfy. Plenty of room for our party. Central location. Quite a few steps up to the apartment but we already knew this. Excellent communication.

Great place for a group of friends to stay

The hotel was great, and location was perfect for us it seemed that it was smack centre in old town side. The hotel is a decent size plenty of room for 10 people. Hotel was clean was a little basic but its what we expected it was worth the value we paid.

Can only really say the bad part was the stairs but we where all in our 30's so wasn't too bad.

Great location. Lovely host. Spacious cosy apartment

The apartment is in a lively bustling street with a lovely deli right next door. Restaurants and bars are aplenty. The beds are the comfiest beds ever. The bedrooms are spacious. The apartment was very cosy. I love my warmth so that was a boost. The kitchen was fully equipped and lovely and clean. You can see Edinburgh Castle from the apartment.

The stairs are a killer! The showers aren’t very powerful. There was an issue with the water but as soon as the host was contacted it was quickly rectified. David immediately advised that we would be compensated for it which we have been. All in all this hasn’t put me off staying there again as the positives outweigh the few negatives.

The apartment is well appointed, phenomenal location, large enough for a family, and comfortable.

Unfortunately, no lift and there are several flights of stairs which is important to know if you have elderly travelers. The apartment could use some TLC - a good cleaning and painting.

The apartment was not very clean there had obviously water damage from upstairs into the bedroom which housed the central heating boiler,the taps in the main bathroom were filthy as was the fridge,David did advise my husband that he would refund some money back but as yet we have had no contact. excellent location though.

Ideal central location and great bedroom layout for a group. We had a fantastic family birthday weekend and the apartment suited our needs.

Apartment located within an old building so inevitable challenges; plumbing is a bit suspect, showers not very good and decor a bit scruffy.

Best location

This apartment is close to perfect. A group of 9 of us travelled from Ireland. Beds were comfy apartment was huge and the location is honestly the best you will get. Communication was great loads of keys supplied and David was wonderful to deal with.

The only thing that let's this place down is the showers. Clean and do the job but not much power.
