Great location and facility!

The location was excellent and a reasonable price given that we stayed through Hogmany. Very easy to walk to/from all events, the train station and key sites in Edinburgh.

The room temp was set at 19C and we would have enjoyed it to be slightly warmer given how cold it was outside. We didn't understand how to warm up the room with the radiators until our last day. Coming from the USA, we could have benefitted from instructions on how to use the kitchen appliances (or maybe that was available to us and we missed it?). Overall, I really have no complaints - these are incredibly minor and we loved our time in Edinburgh!

Location was good, very close to the town. Apartment had a lot of space, was clean.

There was a water leaking from the flat above us and water was dripping on the our bed, nobody came check around even when was reported to out of hours person call. People who was upstairs was very loud,we had a flight in the morning and we couldn't sleep for the most of the night, especially our little boy because of this. Very disappointing no action was taken.

An ideal location and base to explore the city. Lovely, warm and quiet the apartments were spacious and well decorated.

The room was spotless, all credit to the cleaning team, the location was perfect.

The room was so hot even without the radiator on, I couldn't understand why.

Nice but not perfect

High ceiling, comfy mattress and the building was beautiful. The passkey entry was easy to use too. Central and close to everything which makes a city break very easy.

It was all one room for 6 people in 2 double beds and a sofa bed. The kitchen was tiny all packed into a corner space and the bathroom needed a good scrub. It was also.weirdly placed having to go into the bathroom through the kitchen?

The location was terrific and it was easy to check in. The room was spacious and nice.

I wasn’t expecting to climb 65 steps up to the room with my 24” suitcase. I literally had to remove my clothing to lighten the load, thank you packing cubes, so I could haul it up the last 15 steps that were narrow and windy. Also they fell a little short on supplies. There was a kitchen but no drying towels. No salt no pepper. No napkins. Also the trash had not been removed and it had food containers in it. And I could not adjust the thermostat.

Fabulous venue in fabulous location.

Absolutely fabulous rooms in a perfect location. Stocked with all the essentials, and to our surprise someone came in and cleaned whilst we were out, which we hadn’t expected from an apartment stay. Will definitely come here again with visiting Edinburgh.

Great location, would come again!

Great location, really in the center of the city and easily reached by train/bus from the airport. Clean. Easy check in with codes. Having able to leave your luggage (within the locked door but unattended at your own risk) after check out was a plus. The host was very responsive though we only communicated minimum times upon checkout. Would come again.

An added lock from indoors would have been reassuring. Not enough hooks to hang the towels. It was a room with carpets, which I understand is often the case in England which I do not prefer, but that is personal.

The bathroom was completely inadequate, we did get moved to a room with a larger bathroom but had to stay out for a whole day as when we returned the room was still not cleaned from previous at 1.30pm

Disappointing

Location

I understood it had 2 separate sleeping areas when I booked - my search was for 2 bedrooms for myself & my adult son. Turns out it was one room with bed and sofabed. I think this was misleading. Decor was shabby for what was described as ‘luxury suite’ with damp and peeling wallpaper. The fire alarm went off at 6:30am. No representative arrived to check what was happening, even when the fire brigade attended. Nobody answered the emergency out of hours phone number or returned my call. Very poor service and zero concern for health & safety.

Right for the price

Good location—just far enough away from Princess St where you don't have crowds of people around you, but just a quick walk to get there.

Was more like an apartment rental than hotel. The door lock was a little tricky—you needed to make sure to pull hard for it to fully lock.

The location is suitable if you travel without car. Close to main tourist places.

I drove and the parking is extremely expensive and there are no car parks nearby. On top of this if your car is not LEZ compliant you must pay a fixed penalty.

Comfortable apartment in a good location.

Great location. Clean. Nice little kitchen area. Comfortable bed and very quiet building.

Communication from the hotel could have been better as the room we were given did not meet our expectations, which was a bit disappointing as we had an elderly person with us. We thought we had booked a room with a more separate space, not a bed right next to ours, and there were a good few steps to the bathroom which made things difficult.

Great location with short walk to bus stop. Walking distance to the old town. It’s very nice to have a kitchen, so we had some meals at the room. The room is clean and the facilities are new.

Figure out how to turn off the heater

It’s a beautiful spacious room set in a fabulous location. Sadly, though, couldn’t turn off the heater so we left the windows open to cool the place only to be awakened each hour by exuberant youths shouting in the street below.

The fact that booking .com advertised the place as a high quality junior suite. That the room rate reflected this. It was nothing of the sort.It had many,many maintenance issues.The room was unsafe as was the shoebox of a bathroom.Requests for assistance were not answered..No reception staff to be seen for the two days while we were there.Bags of Dirty laundry were left outside our door for three days. Amenities were almost no existent and look like they had been topped up to look like new products.No air con or fan on the hottest day of the year despite our unanswered request to provide one Noisy guests and squeaky floors boards from room upstairs kept us awake half the night. If Booking com and the absent managers of this place had any decency they would refund us our money and close the place for refurbishment and allow them time to train people how to look after guests. Booking.com this a disgrace supporting such a property and displaying disengious information to your clients.Shame on you.
