Outside light couldn’t be put on until inside the property, so was a little difficult to enter the building at night

Overall, a lovely stay. It met our expectations and it was good value for money.

It’s a lovely apartment in a good location. Parking was difficult but I suppose that’s an issue with the city.

Only downside to the apartment is the small double beds. Not ideal if parents want to co-sleep with child. Also the cotbed had no sheets on and was far too low for a baby.

A lovely clean and well-equipped basement flat in the heart of Edinburgh. Good-sized bedrooms and two modern showers/bathrooms. Large and comfortable kitchen/diner/lounge. Quiet and upmarket location, close to shops and restaurants. Parking right outside property.

Rather hard bed (topper useful?). Immediate parking expensive and only 4 hours max.

Beautiful property. Very well presented, clean and comfortable. Good location for the city, about 10 mins walk from Princes Street. David was very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again. Thankyou

Nothing, it was just what we wanted. Minor recommendations only- Missing some hooks in the bathrooms for towels and a washing up sponge for wiping around would be a useful addition.

Perfect stay in Edinburgh!

This place was amazing! It’s very beautiful, large, clean and modern inside. The beds were comfortable and showers great. Had everything you needed to feel at home like coffee machine, great TV, all kitchen appliances, washer/dryer (with detergent!), etc. Loved our time here and would definitely stay again!

Location was great

Flew in late at night - no lights and no milk for a cuppa and shops were closed. Mats were a bit of a trip hazard . Nowhere to hang towels or place clothes in the bathroom

A superb apartment with an outstanding host, spacious modern rooms, and a perfect central location.

We had a fantastic stay at Wemyss Hideaway Retreat. The host was helpful and responsive from the moment we booked, making us feel welcome right away. The apartment itself is even better than the photos, the rooms are generously sized and the modern décor truly exceeded our expectations. The location couldn’t be more convenient, with easy walking access to shops, cafés, and Edinburgh’s main sights. The only minor hiccup was that one of the shower doors was a bit tricky to close; fortunately there are two bathrooms, so it never became an issue. I also wish the property used a key-card system rather than a physical key or code for even smoother access. Overall, a superb apartment and host — we’d love to stay here

Apartamento muy moderno pero con checkout muy temprano .

Sorprendente lo aseado que estaba la propiedad , amplio espacio en todas sus estaciones , cocina moderna y buena ubicación .

El early checkout , llegamos a las 6pm y nos pidieron salir si o si a las 10:00am .
