Location is perfect for enjoying the city!

The location is perfect for exploring the city, the kitchen space was lovely if you were planning to cook meals etc we just didn’t have time to enjoy the apartment as much as we would of liked to due being there for the rugby and being on a short visit!

The noise from the street late at night, which isn’t the hosts fault, it was definitely noticeable but we got in super late too so didn’t have to listen to it for too long but I would take ear plugs if your a lighter sleeper! It certainly wouldn’t stop us from staying again as that is usually what we are here to enjoy, the night life of Edinburgh!

Overall a nice property and much more comfortable than a hotel room, very centrally located.

Overall the decor was modern and of a good standard. Very centrally located which was good for restaurants and getting out to the sights. Beds and sofas were very comfortable and well presented.

There were some minor niggles, none of the wall clocks showed the correct time. The boiler could be hidden from view. Small pencil mark on one of the wall lights, sellotape holding a piece of bath trim and the bath end is exposed. I'm 6ft and getting in/out of the main bath/shower is not the easiest, someone shorter would struggle.

It was on a fab location with everything near by. Beautiful apartment with everything you need inside and very comfortable!

The sockets are broken or cracked so it was fire hazard / very annoying that certain plugs didn’t work in one of the bedrooms.

This apartment offered all the facilities we could've asked for. The spacious apartment meant it was great for our family trip to the city centre of Edinburgh. Its location was perfect for exploring the city. This apartment was very worth it and would definitely recommend it.

The only negatives of our stay were the late night and early morning noise from the street construction and bars that could be heard through the windows. Also, we were unable to drop our bags off before check-in, which meant we had to carry our bags around the city for a while.

Excellent location, Bedrooms were as pictured in photos and nicely appointed. lounge and kitchen were fine.

I was horrified to see the entrance and stairwell for the first time as it resembled a slum albeit clean and free from clutter. The majority of the blinds were broken and didn't louvre or lift using the chords. The flooring in the kitchen has swelled and needs attention in one place.

Location and the facilities was spot on

You can hear the noise from the club opposite at night, in the front bedroom. We swapped rooms with the lighter sleepers, so problem solved. It didn't spoil the stay.

This is an absolute great location. You are about half mile walk from Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. Also, very close to a lot of places in the Edinburgh area. There are a lot of great places to eat all within walking distance. We walked down to the coast into Leith and it was also a really nice walk along the river.

It’s on somewhat of a busy street although we had absolutely no problems. It was quiet and overall just a great convenient location. Around a lot of restaurants and stores however we had no problems with noise.

Worth to stay

A charming apartment in the very center of Edinburgh, very easily accessible on foot. Very clean and comfortable. Charming design. Fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook yourself. And the main thing, which is very important - in case of problems, any problems are solved instantly without the involvement of Booking.com employees. A text message is enough. The answer comes immediately and so does the solution. Although we travel to Edinburgh regularly, I had not discovered this apartment until now. We will definitely try to book them again on our next trip.

Maybe a little information about how to find the apartment would be useful. Maybe by the names of the shops nearby, because the entrance to the apartment is very inconspicuous

Comfortable stay in this lovely old historic apartment near Edinburgh Castle!

The location was so close to the center of town and to all the main attractions we wanted to see.

The only thing I would suggest to add, especially to the bedroom that has windows facing the street is to add a shade to help block out the bright street lights.

Beautiful apartment in excellent location

The property was furnished to a very high standard. Lots of little extras such as toiletries, tea and coffee. The location was ideal, so central for everything. The entry instructions were easy to follow. The staff were friendly, one of the group left their glasses and she telephoned and offered to post them.

The stairway was in need of decoration.

Location amazing. Good pre arrival info. Able to have access earlier on request. Clean comfy rooms x extra touches with nice shower gel etc. Tea bags coffee available. Also loved Christmas tree and table set up x

Communication was excellent and the whole place was beautiful. Very thoughtful additions to make your stay comfortable. It was in a fantastic location and there was so much room.

One bedroom and sofa beds are on street side and there’s a 70s/80s disco directly opposite the apartment every Friday and Saturday until 3am. They literally play the music from speakers out the door. The people in these beds will need earplugs.

Really really nice apartment

Really Really nice modern apartment. Clean and well equipped. Very spacious. Would highly recommend. As some other reviews have said the off street entrance is a bit shabby, but do not be put off by this as the apartment is immaculate.
