About this house rental
Welcome to our beautiful five-bedroom detached family home in one of Edinburgh’s most desirable residential areas. Spacious, contemporary and exceptionally well appointed, the house offers a rare combination of generous family living, private outdoor space and easy access to central Edinburgh.
Just a short distance from the picturesque Dean Village, Stockbridge and Edinburgh city centre, it is an ideal base for families and groups who want the space and comfort of a substantial private home while still being close to everything Edinburgh has to offer.
At the heart of the home is an impressive open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, perfect for enjoying breakfast together, cooking, entertaining or simply relaxing after a day exploring the city. There is also a separate lounge for quieter moments and a piano for guests who enjoy playing. The property has five spacious bedrooms, each with its own private en-suite bathroom, making it particularly comfortable for larger families, multi-generational stays or groups travelling together. There is also an additional family bathroom and a convenient downstairs WC.
One of the things that makes our home particularly special is the large, fully enclosed private garden. There are outdoor seating and dining areas, while younger guests have plenty to enjoy with a two-storey children’s playhouse, trampoline and swing set, as well as our rather unforgettable life-sized gorilla! The house also benefits from a private driveway with off-street parking for up to three cars and a garage, a real advantage when staying in Edinburgh.
Our favourite thing within walking distance is Dean Village, without question. We love being able to walk from home to one of the most picturesque parts of Edinburgh, with its beautiful historic buildings and the Water of Leith running through it. From Dean Village you can follow the Water of Leith walkway towards Stockbridge for coffee, brunch or a wander around the independent shops. It is one of our favourite walks and a lovely way to experience a quieter, more local side of Edinburgh. The location gives you a wonderful balance between city life and a peaceful residential neighbourhood. Spend the day exploring Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, galleries, shops and restaurants, then leave the bustle of the city centre behind and return to a spacious private home where everyone has room to relax. What we love most about our home is the space.
Having five bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, gives everyone privacy, while the huge open-plan kitchen, dining and living area provides a wonderful place for everyone to come together.
This is a genuine family home rather than a purpose-built holiday apartment, and we hope our guests enjoy that feeling during their stay.
