Holiday ruined

Location

When we eventually found access at the correct time there was a worker in the property replacing the shower screens and there was deritis everywhere from the work. The bathroom floor was in exceptionally poor condition and there were carpet grips protruding through the floor, there was a huge hole in the bathroom door without a door lock. The owners were aware of the ongoing work but failed to make contact and explain the situation in advance. Considering the high price you would expect the owners to invest in maintaining the property to a standard.

We just found it a little hard to find at first as the photos showed to go under arch and in a courtyard but it was actually not under the arch and just on the side of the street

The property was not as described; not clean; very poorly equipped (one spoon for four people?); and many things didn’t work.

If the room was clean, it would be great.

Comfortable apartment in a nice and safe neighborhood. It was pretty quiet and with great wifi. It was about 15 minutes from the castle on foot. We did not use any taxi or public transportation, we just walked from there.

The room was not clean. In the bathroom, the sink was not working properly. Every time we used water in the sink, it took 10 mins to go down. The towels did not seem clean. We found hair in the bathtub and the floor was not clean. The sofas had stains on them. The discussion with the employees about fixing the sink and cleaning the apartment did not help at all. We just lived with these issues.

Overall good experience

The location was great as it was close to everything, the bus stop is less than 5 minutes away or walking distance to the city centre was about 20 minutes. There is a Tesco nearby and some cornershops as well. Overall I was happy with my stay and it is a good value for money.

I didn't like that I booked the apartment for 5 people, there are two bedrooms with two double beds, one person for the sofa bed but I had to pay extra £25 for the sheets for the sofa bed. If I am booking the apartment for 5 people, I would expect the sheets to be included in the price. The sofa bed itself needs changing, the mattress is beyond bad, I had to put an extra layer of a blanket so I don't feel how uncomfortable it was. Overall, most things were very good, but some of the things are overused and need changing.

There is only one bedside table and lamp for the kingsize bed. I think most people would expect a table and lamp on both sides . Pretty hopeless if one person wants to read and the other wants to go to sleep.

Good location and quiet. Fava and Pomo restaurants around the corner both good.

Some discarded socks in one bedroom. Photo above is not the apartment we stayed . Asked for bedroom 1 to be made up as a twin but was a double when we arrived back at property. Shower not very spacious for size of bathroom.

Comfy bed, didn't use the kitchen fully however great to have. Good amount of tea etc. Great location.

Beds were made as 2 doubles instead of 2 singles and double as advertised.Had to share a bed with my sister. Shower not cleaned properly. No hot water on day 2.

Great location. good property, just some minor fixes needed

Location and apartment size was great. Generally great just some issues

No hot water on arrival, had to boost boiler. Shower did not work, it was a trickle - this ruined it for me as I wasn't able to have a decent shower - needs fixing. Blinds in bedroom did not work I had to push them up and down from the roller as chain was not working.

The location and the bed where comfortable

There was no tea towels, not enough toilet roll, parts of game where missing, not enough glass, dirty cutlery, bedside cabinet had no handle, very small pore pressure shower and hot water was noisy. Sofa bed was only suitable for 1 person and was uncomfortable.

Floor was dirty when walking around our feet were black. Not enough toilet roll (only 2 for 4 people over 3 days) plus no bed side table in one room

Hot water and heating not included.

It had a functioning roof and bed to sleep on, the bath and shower were nice to look at least. I also learnt a lot about water pressure in a boiler, and how boilers work, which I guess is something...

There was no hot water or heating. We called for an engineer, who though helpful, only temporarily fixed the issue. This led to no hot water three consecutive mornings and some very cold evenings (relying on just a plug-in electric heater). When we called about the issue on the second morning, no one from the property management group picked up the phone and we had do google searches on how to re-pressurise the boiler ourselves (which was not to be expected from an expensive apartment!). Without hot water, and having to repressurise the boiler every morning, meant delays and extra taxi-costs to make our plans on time. We have spoken to the property managers, and though polite, they refused to provide any form of compensation for the inconvenience caused. We are very disappointed and will not be using ALTIDO properties again.

Horrible. No heating and hot water.

The location was good

There was no hot water and heating for majority of our stay. My family was not able to take a shower during majority of their stay as the water was unconfortably cold. Even after they sent someone to fix the issue, there was only hot water for a short while. Only 1 person managed to take a shower. The place was not in a livable state. My family did not have a good experience at all. I do not recommend.

Great location but accomodation a bit dissapointing.

Location splendid, and felt very safe being tucked in behind the police station! Good kitchen equipment (we didnt use but good branded cooker etc) good towels and linen

The appartment was tired the bathroom had stains and poorly finished skirting etc and we sent detail re plumbing issues to Altidor. Altidor bookingprocess is complex ,dozens of emails and you need to send lots of further detauil after booking on the booking.com site. We did informAltidor and they promiswe tolook at issues but the flatis not as described and was dissapointing, however as above a great location. Parking also good.

Location is great-everything else falls short.

Location is great.

Booking claims that checkin is at 3pm onwards, and check out is before 11am-this is not the case. You will recieve an email telling you not to go to the property until after 4pm, and that you must check out before 10am. Not only this, but the lenghty email that you will recieve will go into great detail and the things that you "must" do when there. Which I might add, does not seem to be enforced, as I have pictures of the various items that were found there. The property also appears to be on a quite street-although at night time this street is pretty popular for intoxicated people to walk down (was there over a weekend, so not sure how this is at other times), and people to speed down through out the night.
