JOIVY Superb Flats in the Heart of Edinburgh

Das Frühstück und die Lage

Ich wurde von einer anderen Unterkunft umgebucht

Great location! Functional, warm. Easy access and paying a little extra for late check out was really helpful.

The third bedroom is not really a bedroom! It had nothing but a single bed! No units, shelves, no mirror, nowhere to put anything. We bought a couple of dining chairs in to put luggage and clothes on so it was ok but considering how well furnished the rest of the apartment was it was a bit disappointing.

The property is in a great location, we felt very central and within walking distance of everything/everywhere we wanted to explore. The property itself was spacious, clean and met all our expectations. Overall we had a lovely stay and the property was everything we needed it to be.

This was the first time we have ever used a passkey as entry to the door and it took some getting used to, the aspect I didn't like was there is no lock on the door once you're in the property which meant although it was locked from the outside it didn't feel as secure as a traditional lock. The only other thing in the property that could be improved is to add curtains to the bedroom as the blinds do not keep the light out as much as we would have liked.

Location was good enough. Not much more than a short walk to places of interest in the city.

Change of location after booking was a disappointment. Being asked how I wanted room (double or twin) only to have request ignored was strange. 4 night stay without clean cups or towel change was less than expectations. The description of the room was over generous to the actual proportions and layout. We have stayed in worse but paid noticably less to do so. The impersonal nature of this facility would not suit everyone but I quite liked it.
