Great location, easy and functional!

Great location! Functional, warm. Easy access and paying a little extra for late check out was really helpful.

The third bedroom is not really a bedroom! It had nothing but a single bed! No units, shelves, no mirror, nowhere to put anything. We bought a couple of dining chairs in to put luggage and clothes on so it was ok but considering how well furnished the rest of the apartment was it was a bit disappointing.

Great location, great property!

The property is in a great location, we felt very central and within walking distance of everything/everywhere we wanted to explore. The property itself was spacious, clean and met all our expectations. Overall we had a lovely stay and the property was everything we needed it to be.

This was the first time we have ever used a passkey as entry to the door and it took some getting used to, the aspect I didn't like was there is no lock on the door once you're in the property which meant although it was locked from the outside it didn't feel as secure as a traditional lock. The only other thing in the property that could be improved is to add curtains to the bedroom as the blinds do not keep the light out as much as we would have liked.

Ideal area

Lovely quiet area, beds were comfy

It was not the cleanest, we stayed in the the 3 bed apartment, bedroom at bottom of stairs was very cramped, at the head of bed were some metal bars coming out from wall, not sure what the purpose of these were it was filthy in that gap, alot of dust and other things thrown there, so obviously had not been cleaned in a long time, whole apartment could do with a freshen up

Spoilt by the inflexibility, insincerely & lack of emphatical of staff

Well equipped with appliances for easy cooking & washing of clothes. Comfortable to sleep & rest. Apartment is clean & pleasant.

Got to climb up & down to toilet & bedroom. Staff are inflexible- put rules above needs of customer; does not allow storage of luggages. Also they don’t know the check-out time as instructions on Booking website & in apartment differs from Checkout instructions; staff need to check to confirm.

Was a lovely apartment altogether. Great location and the beds were very comfortable.

TV stopped working for some reason, on the second day there, tried everything to fix it. Not able to receive any requests. Up stairs shower didn’t work.

Stains on the bedding No sofa bed- you pay £20 for bedding for a load of cushions. The sofa bed is non existent. You are sleeping on the floor. It’s good for 4 but for 6 it’s false advertising. Oven does not work Creeky floors Poor floor in bathroom Broken lights

Stay away

Location is great - close to downtown and can be reached very easily by public transportation.

You can't sell everything with a great location... We booked the apartment for 5 ppl, which meant we needed the extra sofa bed (you have to pay extra for this even if you book the flat for more than 4 ppl - it's probably written somewhere in fine print, still annoying though). Bed linen was not there, we had to call them so that it could be delivered (on the same day, and we were lucky since we arrived in the afternoon, but what if we arrive late in the night). The sofa bed is not suitable for anybody above 40 kg (see picture), my wife and toddler son had to use the mattress from it and put it on the ground to be able to sleep (btw, we paid 300 £ per night). At the end of the first day came the biggest surprise - the fridge was not working, so we had to get rid of all the food we bought, plus buy only the amount we actually needed for each meal. The fridge was fixed on the 3rd day of our 5-day stay, and in their defence, they reimbursed us for the wasted food plus we got 5% back from what we paid for the flat - still it is not something you expect for 300 £ a night. The bathroom is in bad condition, towel racks hang from the wall, floor needs to be replaced (see pictures) - btw, bathroom, you have to buy your own toilet paper, they don't provide nearly enough (again, 300 £ a night...). The stairs are creaking a lot to the point that you can wake up the people trying to sleep. Also, the place is absolutely not child-friendly with steep stairs and lots of glass subjects in a toddler's reach - they don't state that it is, it's just something to keep in mind. I don't know what Altido's other apartments are like, but i am definitely not going to visit them...

Needs improvements

The location was good, it was spacious and nice looking The check-in to the apartment is comfortable and you don't need a member of staff for it The staff was polite when approached (not always managed to help but did try)

It wasn't that clean and poorly maintenance - broken screws in the rooms closests and in the bathroom, we had a problem with the bathroom doors and fridge. The floor is creaking when you go up and downstairs especially at night There wasn't enough toilet paper for all the day's of our stay- you need to buy yourself and in addition shampo and washing gel

Nice apartment in a great location

Perfect location in a quiet street in the city centre. The apartment was very clean. There were essentials ready for us to use such as shampoos, shower gels, also tea, sugar, instant coffee. Good for family stay.

The floor in the bathroom would need replacing as it's really worn out. The wooden staircase is very squeaky so you can hear anybody walking on it even if you are in a different room. The apartment would be more suitable for 4 adults and 2 children not 6 adults only. But for 3 nights stay it was OK.

Found lashes box beside bed so not cleaned adequately. I asked for bedding to use single beds separately, stop replying to request. Glasses broke in hand when we washed them as they were cracked. Flooring in bathroom lifting.

Very central only 10min walk to Princess Strret

Shower door was broken, stairs leading up to living room/kitchen was so noisy! Living area was extremely hot. Bedroom Room 1 had two single beds joined - were comfy, bedroom 2 had 1 double bed - was comfy. Living area had pull out bed - very small and very uncomfortable! No parking around area, the q-parking they suggest is a good 20/25 min walk away

Beautiful place and location

Perfect, had to be relocated to Stafford Street and was absolutely brilliant perfect flat. Definitely worth and recommend. Definitely will stay there again

Ideal apartment in good location.

This is a quirky apartment split from the original house, now containing 2 apartments. Apartment is keypad entry at exactly 15.00pm, don't try at 14.59pm as it doesn't let you enter, we arrived a few minutes early and were standing outside. A tip if your driving is to come drop off your luggage then go and park your car, and walk back, there is a car park around 8 min walk that we used. The apartment is through a main entry shared door then up a flight of stairs to its own door and sits on the left & apartment 12/2 is off to the right up another few stairs. The apartment has a bedroom on entry, a further few steps before reaching the bathroom & another bedroom. Bedrooms have plenty of space & comfortably decorated. Unfortunately the beds are hard, absolutely great if you enjoy a hard bed. Up another flight of stairs you reach the lounge/kitchen, this area is in the original loft/roof and does become warm although there are two sky light windows that open to let air in, it's spacious and has two sofas & dinning table. A welcome pack can be found on the coffee table that explains how heating etc works. The apartment is in a great location and we walked to where we wanted to go without the need of a taxi.

We found the apartment particularly noisy due to it being an old building and noise travels very easily. The internal wooden stairs to the lounge/kitchen area are creaky & loud. If one of us was in the bedroom downstairs it sounded like a baby elephant in the lounge and we heard our neighbours in the next apartment 12/2 which sounded as if they were in our apartment. A tip when closing both the shared entry door & apartment door is to hold the door & gently close before letting go, don't allow to close itself as its a particularly loud bang, our neighbours did this several times. The apartment had a great selection of items required to cook however there were very little glasses and only one wine glass, this should be checked before new guests arrive, there were 3 of us but as the apartment takes 6 guests there isn't enough, I drank from a tumbler to have wine. There were no oven gloves to handle hot trays, we searched everywhere and had to use the tea towel. It was difficult to turn the shower on and off due to the small lever being missing, these can be purchased from a plumbers merchant.

Sehr schöne und zentral gelegene Wohnung

Die Wohnung liegt optimal. Man kann von dort fußläufig alles erreichen. Bus- und Tramstationen liegen max. 4 Minuten entfernt. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet.

Wir haben uns mit den Sesseln und der kleinen Couch arrangieren können, da wir zu zweit waren aber für mehr Personen wäre es bequemer, eine zweite Couch zu haben.
