I booked an apartment with a twin room and a double room but found on arrival it was 2 double rooms which was not what we needed!

Was a good sized space

When we arrived the place hadn’t been cleaned from the people before. Found blood on our bed sheets and dirty towels, as well and food on the floor and unwashed dishes.

Noise from upstairs was diabolical - noise insulation poor despite being solid old building Despite speaking with concierge the noise from the family upstairs ruined Friday and Saturday nights. The location was good. There was a small grocery store down the block and a nice coffee shop across the street.

If you have luggage you may want to be aware that there are steps down to the apartment. The safe was not working.

Beautifully modernized property with well appointed kitchen and bath in a handy location (10 minutes to the National Gallery). We stayed two nights, but would be super for self-catering. Check in was easy and clear

A little dark being underground. We didn't like the cleaner coming in unannounced, leaving clean towels on the bed and not doing any actual cleaning as it was a bit of a shock to come back and see the towels but didn't know who had left them so assumed a cleaner.

Lovely apartment in the heart of Edinburgh

Great location and beautiful decorated! Huge amount of space and nice modern facilities. Loved the bathrooms, great showers!

Bedroom with no attached baths bed was pretty hard with pillows needing replacing. There needs to be an out of hours contact with the ability to make decisions we called and emailed and messaged about late check out about late check the afternoon/evening before and when we got through to the scottsman hotel at 9am they said they could not make decisions so just try calling the host which we had done but had gotten no response. It worked out in the end but a contingency plan is needed for OOH

#5 is a basement apartment. Dark and a bit cold. The one window looks out on a parking lot. Kitchen very cramped by the layout of the couch. Asked for twin bed set-up and had to call three times to get it changed. Two men did come at 10 pm to do it. LR rug is dangerous to walk on. Booklet instructions not as clear as they could be, e.g. dishwasher. Could hear people upstairs until 2 am. Sounded like they were stomping.

The service was excellent, as we had a minor issue with maintenance that was not correct, but management resolved it promptly and without any disturbances to us.

Artificial lighting is an issue (not enough) as well as natural light, because the apartment is in the basement.

High end flat with in excellent location

High end furnishing and facilities. I like the basket with tea, coffee and biscuits and they provided tabs for the dish washer and washing machine.

It might need a sign on the low parts of the ceiling on entrance to the bathroom.

Perfect location , super cool apartment !

Large extremely comfortable apartment. Wish I was staying longer to appreciate it fully. Very well furnished and cool interior design. Good products in the bathroom . Fab collection of tea coffee etc. felt luxurious and classy ! Great communication and check in instructions from host.

The hob is really complicated to use, and in fact we ended up using the microwave to cook, as it wasn't possible to use the hob. There were instructions but we followed them and it still didn't work!

Great location, well equipped, all you need for a long weekend in Edinburgh

Great location property clean and well equipped - Tesco extra 2 minutes away and all the sights nearby within walking distance . Very good value . Easy to arrange extra cleaning and easy also to arrange a small extension to check out. Fuss free and easy to book, check in and check out again.

Very minor - these are details as the flat was great value, clean and well equipped - windows on the outside needed a clean at the back bedroom particularly visible as it was very sunny when we stayed - and couldn’t bolt when inside
