This is a very spacious, modern apartment in a character building in a good location. We were able to walk everywhere. The living area was very comfortable, as were the beds. Decent supplies of things like dishwasher and washing machine tablets, shampoo, towels, etc, was appreciated.
Every room has a self closing door off a central foyer. It is probably practical for temperature control in a cold climate but it was a bit confusing trying to find each other, etc.

Location was excellent 👌
No parking near available and only one sofa in main TV room for 4 people. Photos on booking.com looked much bigger.

The shower pressure at times was either very low of non existent

This was a nice property in a good location.
No way was it worth £250 a night. It was basic and clean but for that price I would expect some kind of luxury. The kitchen bin also didn’t even open when the lid was pushed down so had to physically lift the lid to use it. There were also stains in the oven which would easily be removed with some scrubbing. Just little things like that aren’t acceptable when a property costs that much. It was ok but wouldn’t stay there again

The location, quite close to the city centre.
Size of the rooms.
As my flat was on the top floor I had to go up six flights of stairs which along with my mother was a difficult task as she has a knee problem and it was difficult for her.
Note - any one booking, if they have members who have mobility issues must request and ask destiny scotland to.give them.either flat 1, 2,3

Easy access to property, great communication with the Destiny Team. Superb location and apartment exceeded our expectations in every way.
Lack of parking, however, discounted parking was available within a 15 min walk.

Plenty space for 4 of us
Lack of mirrors, was one in the bathroom& one in one of the bedrooms but no socket beside it for doing your hair, the mirror that was in the living room was above the fireplace but you would have needed to be over 8ft to be able to see in it.

Great location, close to transport links and central attractions. Great size rooms, living area was comfortable enough for 4 adults and a toddler. Kitchen provided enough for basic cooking for a few days. Heating worked great and kept the apartment warm in November. Key codes rather than keys was great so our party could do what they wanted and didn't have to worry about who had keys.
The windows are single pain, they keep the rain out, they were slightly breezy but with the blinds down and heating on, it didn't make too much difference. It is noisy though, whilst not next to a bar people obviously need to walk past when ending a night, noise went on until 2am some nights, bring earplugs if staying at the weekend, and watch your feet on the street the following morning. Kitchen doesn't have much in the way of workspace, but if you're only doing the basics it's not too bad.

It's nice and large.
Laundry in kitchen
Didn't like that there was an extra fee to to access extra blankets.
Only 1 bathroom, but that was fine for us.

The high quality finish of the apartment. Fluffy towels, nice bedding and lovely toiletries. The position of the apartment was good, surrounded by shops, bars, pubs & eateries.
Nothing.

Excellent location! Recently updated 2 bedroom/2 bath flat with a pull out in the living room. Digital entry to both building and unit door very convenient. Flat was very clean. Fully stocked kitchen if you would like to prepare a meal and eat in at the lovely 6 person dining room table.
No lift, so be prepared to move luggage up and then down 6 flights of stairs. Reservation was made and paid for 1 adult and 4 children. At the time of check-in, fees were added for bedding for the pull out in the living room. No a/c and the windows only open a tiny amount, so difficult to keep the flat comfortable temperature wise.

Good enough location, although I wish I got a room at the Hanover apartment which is better location. Overall quiet but people/cara do come at night as late as 1am, just pass by your window. Very loud. Facility is very clean, modern, updated! Bathroom is nice and clean , shower is great, warm and sufficient water flow. Washing machines is the main reason we booked here! Dish washer too. Fridge and oven. But no microwave :)
1, If you have 3 people such as 2 adults with a kid, and was booking this room thinking there is a sofa bed, you are not 100% right. There is a 15pounds charge PER NIGHT , NOT Per STAY, for using the extra lien and bedding for the sofa bed. So if you want to sleep on the sofa bed without any quilts , you can. But if you want to use it as a bed not a sofa, there is extra charge.
2, didn’t notice the charge mentioned above when I booked it, assuming like all other places (like the one we stayed in London), if there is a sofa bed, the bed has beddings included. So we tried sqeeze 3 people on that bed, as I confirmed in advance and was told it is a king, but maybe it is a British size king…it looks like a queen to us. Definitely not the king is our house (from California)…. So it is really small. Second day I am thinking about paying for the 15pounds per night, but since I totally stay for 3, I texted them asking if I would only be charged for 2 nights instead of 3, no answer. So I decided not to risk, still just squeezed all on the small bed. The way they do it is the liens are in the room in a bag in the closet but there is a seal on the handle. If you open it, you break the seal. That’s why I want to confirm how many nights I will be charged but couldn’t get an answer that day.
Ultimately I decided to sleep on the small bed for all my 3 nights. Which is very tight. Loved Edinburgh, but my husband said should booked Marriott residence inn nearby.
3, no AC. My husband felt hot every night. I feel very comfortable temperature wise. Didn’t bother me at all.
4, communication is a bit slow.
5, We are on ground floor. It is noisy and window lock was damaged when we arrived. I requested higher floor when I booked it but was told this will be the only room fits us…I assume has the sofa bed…but not a bed without paying more. I feel 15 pounds per stay will be very reasonable but per night, think if you stay 7 night….

Excellent location in New Town made it so easy to visit the main attractions on foot with children.

Location and spaciousness of the unit. Two bedrooms were a blessing.
No elevator/lift was a bit rough but was very clearly mentioned prior to booking.

Clean, modern, great amenity, comfortable, well equipped. Location is great. Walking distance to the new town with shops and restaurants nearby. It was an easy 10 min walk from the waverly train station. Yet the street is quiet. We slept so well at night.
I would rent this place if I were to live in Edinburgh for an extended period. I just love this place!
No elevator but we traveled light so it’s not a big deal.

Excellent location, open and light space, well appointed, easy access and booking.
Very minor points - an extra tea towel would have been useful, coffee machine seemed to be faulty and a couple of slightly loose plug sockets. None caused major issues to our stay, just ways to move our 9 to a 10.

Spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped
Limited cooking equipment and no kitchen extras…cling film, foil, sandwich bags…

Loved the apartment and suited our needs perfectly in terms of location and what was provided. 10 minute walk from the station and the places we had booked to eat were literally minutes away. Vast choice of excellent eating places within minutes. Easy access without the bother of keys.
Nothing we disliked.

The master bedroom was big, roomy (to big actually), the kitchen and living room were spacious
a) advertised as 2 bdrm, the 2nd bedroom isn't usable for adults. You cannot get a suitcase between the weall and the bed
b) instructions - there were NONE for any of the appliances, except on the back of the washer/dryer door where it told you it locks for 60-100 min, but in fact it is 2+ hours
c) appliances - the coffee maker didn't work, it was replaced, still didn't work, we used instant, the dishwasher looked like it was going to tumble to the floor, good news, it did not
d) when we had clothes locked in the dryer we called the emergency number, a waste of time, they can't help until 9:00A, we had a plane to catch. We asked if there was a fuse we could turn off to release it? An override? Someone who can instruct us or come and do it. Not until 9:00. The young man arrived, by tram, no car so it took a while and he simply popped the baseboard and flicked the override. We waited 2 hours!!!!.
e) Mattresses - were AWFUL, they could definitely upgrade the mattresses, no one had a good night sleep.
If you are a couple only and you live abroad and know the appliances you'll be fine, otherwise, avoid it.

hosts great and kept our luggage until able to get into room. The apartment is great but wish there was a lift as we were located on the top floor. Also just a wish but would have liked 2 bedroom better with 2 bathrooms (that's on us because knew this at booking)

The flat was spotless with super comfy beds and everything in mint condition. The location was quiet (New Town) but close to everything we needed. I will be staying at that flat again if I return to Edinburgh: we loved it !
There was nothing we didn't like ! The only thing I can think of is that the place would be even better with a few kitchen basics: some salt and pepper, some olive oil (maybe) but this is a minor detail. Nothing else was missing: there was tea, coffee and sugar. Even a few cookies.

Spacious, clean and very central. The apartment was excellent.
No bedding for cot. We had flown up and had no bedding for our toddler. I had missed this detail at the time of booking. The hosts said they couldn’t help. It seems very easy to me to provide a toddler duvet and pillow at no extra cost. We had to use towels for his bedding. The only negative for me.
