Perfect location as we’ve stayed here before, we’ll be back to stay again
Issue on arriving but quickly resolved by the hosts and good communication

Great size property for 6 adults, lots of space. Nice lounge and kitchen with amenities (coffee machine, dish washer, iron etc…)
Lack of accessibility (4th floor - lots of stairs) and no area to pull up to empty car (due to the location)

The high quality of all the fittings and smart appearance. The relative quiet for such a central city location. The courtesy of the staff in allowing a later check- out.we appreciated the two bedrooms with their own bathrooms. We appreciated being able to do washing and drying and the fridge capacity was excellent for four people.
Maybe triple glazing on the front bedroom windows???

Well stocked and decorated apartment in great location.

The property was spacious and very modern and clean. The location was great for us, lots of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. We enjoyed being in the centre of everything.
The only thing I would say is that being on the 3rd floor could be difficult for some people getting suitcases up the stairs, but that’s part of staying in an older building.

I liked how easy the property was to access. Check in was super smooth and the customer service team were brilliant. Really friendly and accommodating for my last minute booking. I will be returning again!

Great location on Princes Street and just a short walk from the train station. It’s also not far from NCP Castle Terrace (for those who drive). Nice set up in the apartment. Very clean.
Small niggles but the coffee pods weren’t nice, and the ?wifi router next to the bed was very bright. It would’ve been helpful to have instructions for the stove and oven.

Airbnb next to a Tesco express so we could grab anything we needed from there for breakfast or a quick lunch dinner whatever.
The door knobs of the apartment would have been better if handles.
All else absolutely excellent.

Great view, even better location. Located on Princes st, close to all important attractions - outside of airport commute, we only traveled by foot.
we could've used a socket adapter

Fantastic location - 15/20 minute walk from Waverley Station. Spotlessly clean and well equipped apartment.

Location was fabulous
small things like the fridge really could have done with a handle as there was no indication in which direction to pull the door open and it really was a challenge to put finger in the top to pull it open. The floor had been sprayed with something at the entry way and it was so slippery I almost fell. Had to put a towel in place to prevent further slips.

The castle view room double was great. The view was excellent! We were only up one flight so the stairs were not an issue. The bed closed off with sliding doors, so the early bird did not disturb whoever slept in. The room was clean and comfortable.

Great location
No lift and having to carry bags up 4 flights of stairs lol

Very easy to get code
No leeway at all on entry - even by 15 minutes - which would have been helpful tbh.
Office where you can leave luggage is a long way from apartment

Location was perfect, we were able to walk to many of the activities in the area. The view was awesome with Edinburgh Castleright across the street. The apartment was very clean.
We had to climb 2 flights of stairs even though we had a first floor apartment. No elevators in the building. Beds were not comfortable, need to be updated to higher end mattress. Lastly the bath tubs were extremely slippery when wet. We had to be very careful not to fall while taking showers. Perhaps invest in some non-skid bath mats for the tub. Also no wash cloths were provided.

Centrality and easy to access the Mile. Facilities good
Anti-social youth elements congregating at entrance could be addressed.
Wear a eye mask for sleeping as bedroom gets light early in morning

Location. Apartment itself very comfortable. Bathroom amazing.
Top floor with no lift. Absolute chore getting luggage to the top. You need a strong bodied man to carry it all… and even then it’s not easy.

The property is in a fantastic location, close to the Monument and Old Town—everything is just around the corner. The view of the castle from the property was amazing, and overall, we had a great stay.
The apartment is on the fourth floor with no lift, so be prepared to carry your luggage all the way up. It can be a bit tiring, especially with heavy bags.

Wonderful apartment in a very central location with a view overlooking Edinburgh Castle.
Two spacious rooms and a nice living room with a kitchen made our stay very nice!

Superb location and view of the castle, easy walking to Royal Mile and attractions. Great size apt, well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed and pillows.
It was complicated to turn the cooktop on and then the front right one did not work at all. When I stacked the dishwasher after our first meal the large plates did not fit in the lower basket so I had to half empty it and then discovered that the plug in the kitchen sink does not seal.

Having read the reviews knew to look for an entrance that wasn't huge. Basically a door between the Tesco Express (really handy for essentials) and the next property up. Easy instructions as to how to get into the property and the app was definitely worth downloading with all the info on it.
We were on the 1st floor with great views of the castle but glad we only had to climb that one flight of stairs after a day of walking round Edinburgh.
Couldn't have asked for a better location with Princes Street Gardens across the road and the castle and Haymarket within easy walking distance. Plenty of places to eat nearby.
If you're staying on a Saturday morning make sure you visit the Farmers Market behind the castle, next to the NCP car park as they had some amazing food stalls but get there early as it was selling fast even at 9.30am.
There were a couple of small things - the property next door was being refurbished and the workmen were re-felting a roof next to our bedrooms so there was quite a bit of noise first thing but it helped to wake us up for the day and when we came back to the apartment on the final night we no longer had a view of the castle as scaffolding had been erected around the doorway and covered our windows. Luckily we'd had 2 nights of great views already.

The location could not be better, with views of the castle, to boot. Princes St is the main shopping thoroughfare so it was really central and we were able to walk everywhere - to the castle, galleries, Holyrood. But had we wanted it there were trams and buses outside our door and behind us were the lovely Georgian squares of Newtown, with the river Leith walks 5 minutes walk away. We walked with 2 big suitcases 10 minutes from the station straight along Princes St to the apartment - so easy. Our return journey required us to just cross the road to an AirPort Express bus stop!!
The apartment was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. We cooked for ourselves and we had a Tesco supermarket downstairs!
There are no instructions as to how to use the washing machine/tumble dryer/dishwasher - so any environmental impact claims for the property disappear as we didn’t know how to put on a light load etc. Furthermore I wasted about 2 hours trying to get the dryer to work without putting the clothes through another wash. It required a combination of switches and the drying dial. When I contacted Destiny Scotland, - the property managers - they were very quick to respond but asked me if I had looked at the ‘drying dial’ which of course I had, but which did not work alone. They also sent in a maintenance person whilst we were out but a simple set of instructions in the flat for the lovely equipment would have saved us all time.

The overall location was good, very central for getting around. Inside the unit was spacious with good cooking facilities.
The actual building was super scruffy and nestled between McDonalds and other fast food restaurants so the doorway was constantly blocked by Uber Eats drivers sitting with their bikes, which made it difficult to get in with luggage. Later in the evening the doorway became somewhere for homeless and drunk people to sit. We didn’t feel unsafe it just wasn’t what we expected for the price. It was also super noisy all night with the tram and drunk people standing outside shouting.

The place is beautiful, but the attitude of Joanna and the other girl at the office was terrible.
One of the worst experiences.

I demand that Booking.com remove this property from their platform, as it is managed by irresponsible individuals.
£15 was charged to my card despite no extra bed being provided.
After calling them, they confirmed that no amount would be charged, yet after checking out, the amount was deducted.

Location, the comfortable lay out, nice furnishings. Loved it.
More dishes so we could make use of dishwasher. No drawers for personal effects.

We had a lot of room, kitchen was well stocked. Very clean, big bathroom. Location had a grocery store and bank right next door. We loved Rose Street just one block away with numerous bars and restaurants. Easy to get to from airport.
No elevator but it was ok for us, we only had couple of suitcases. I think a couple of luggage racks would be nice.

Fantastic location and views of the Castle. It was clean and spacious completed with high end furnishings and equipment. Close to transport routes, perfect as a base for exploring the city and relaxing after a long day of walking. We stayed in room 1 on the first floor. The staff were very quick to respond to any questions or concerns.
Can be a bit noisy as on a Main Street but I live on a main road at home so it didn’t bother me.
