Deluxe 3-bedroom Apartment on Princes Street overlooking Edinburgh Castle

Location was great.

The listing did not indicate that it was a walk up 3 flights of stairs, which was very difficult with a great deal of baggage and an infant. There were very few amenities, such as paper towels, dish cloths, blow dryer (as was promised on the listing).

The location was wonderful, very convenient to old town, train station and restaurants. It had amazingly beautiful views of the castle and gardens. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Lock box was in bad location and did not work. It was a very busy corner with trash cans and a taxi stand. It was very awkward with all the luggage and people standing over me. Host staff were rude and difficult when issues arose. I would not recommend for people that have a hard time with stairs as there is no elevator and a lot of steps (very difficult with the luggage). I would also provide warning that it is noisy with the traffic and concerts.

I liked the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and the view from the living room. Overall it was a fantastic experience

I didn't like the fact that there was only one Television for the whole house. It would have been better if every room had a television. Also, I did not like the fact that there was no clock in the entire house .

Location very good , beautiful views. Stunning location, beautiful apartment, and a management company that fixed a window issue within four hours of us reporting it. On paper this should have been a five-star stay.

Unfortunately a severe sewage smell throughout the property made that impossible. It was strong enough to make members of our 4 person group feel physically unwell and was present for the entire duration of our stay. The plugin air fresheners in every room suggest the host is aware of the problem. We paid €1,100 for the weekend. At that price this is not acceptable. We did not raise it at the time, which we regret. But the smell was there from arrival and showed no sign of improving. Until it is properly resolved we would not return and could not recommend it to others.
