About this apartment rental

A contemporary, spacious and elegant 3 bedrooms apartment .
Bright and comfortable this third floor apartment also offers a stunning view from all the windows to the Carlton Hill Monument
(sorry, no LIFT or elevator in this historic building).


Situated at the East End of Edinburgh opposite to the Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre and close to local attractions including the Vue Cinema Omni Center, St James Shopping Center and Botanic Garden.
Short walk to Princes Street, Waverly Train Station and the Bus Station. It is also well connected to the Edinburgh Airport just 20 minutes away by car
and now also connected by Tram from the airport to Picardy place stop just outside the apartment.

Getting to your Picardy Place holiday home could not be easier it is located in Edinburgh city center so Airport bus stop is within few minute walk; Edinburgh Waverley train station just 5 minutes away as well as the Bus station. Once the tram will work the stop from the airport will be just at Picardy Place.

Airport bus regularly runs between airport and City Centre (Waverly station) as well as the Tram runs from the airport and one of then stops is Picardy Place , near the apartment .

We loved the apartment and location. Everything worked great and was very clean. Easy parking and good restaurants in the neighborhood. We enjoyed Giovannis downstairs! The management was very responsive and quick to respond to any questions before and during our arrival.The only drawback was our apartment was on the 3rd level (4th in US terms) with no elevator. Lugging our luggage was difficult. That being said, we would definitely stay here again!

This property was very clean and inviting. Giovanna was exceptionally attentive and helpful as a host, and she runs a great Italian restaurant next door. Check it out. Our stay was a wonderful experience for our family. The negative was the walk up 3 flights of stairs for us of a certain age; but, hey, the extra exercise may have resulted in our slight loss of weight—something that has almost never occurred for us on vacations.

Perfect location right in the centre of everything you could need. Large kitchen and living area that enabled the 6 of us to relax and spend time together. Every space was very clean. Nice to have a roomy shower. Beds were comfortable, even the bunk beds (considering we’re over 60). Grateful there were fans provided as it was super hot in Scotland during our visit. Excellent communication with the owners and check-in was super smooth. Appreciated that we could do laundry on site. Highly recommend!

The apartment was a perfect choice for our party of 4. (Two married couples) We had plenty of space to relax. The location is close to the city center, train, and bus line. It made it very easy to get to the sites we wanted to see. Giovanna was helpful and very responsive to messages.

Conveniently located. But on a busy street so expect road noise and the sounds of passers by. Should’ve read the listing more carefully. There is no elevator, so hauling bags up to the flat can be a workout.

Let me start by saying that this flat has an amazing location! We were able to walk down stairs and go right to the tram system and hit all of the sights! It is in walking distance to many shops, dining, etc. The flat itself worked great for our quick stay. We needed bedrooms for everyone and bathrooms were key in organizing how fast we could get up and around to sight see! The hosting family goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome as well! Thank you!
