Fontana Penthouse

The apartment is very spacious—a three-level penthouse with a beautiful terrace and stunning lake views. It is equipped with high-quality appliances, kitchenware, and bathroom fixtures. The private garage is a huge advantage, especially for larger vehicles. The bedroom on the first floor stays comfortably cool, and the indoor jacuzzi is a nice feature.

The check-in process was inconvenient because the keys had to be collected from an office in the center of Varenna, at a different address. Finding parking there was difficult after a long drive. The Wi-Fi network was available, but there was no internet connection during our stay. The terrace and outdoor jacuzzi were not clean. The apartment gets very hot because it faces the sun, and the air conditioning in the living room and kitchen barely cools the space. Some parts of the apartment need maintenance, such as the bathroom door, which no longer closes properly due to moisture. One of the beds on the third floor is positioned directly under the air conditioner, so cold air blows directly onto the person sleeping there.

Didžiausias pliusas- didelė terasa ir vaizdai iš jos. Būstas erdvus, du vonios kambariai su dušu (tiesa viename duše nėra karšto vandens). Privati parkingo vieta požeminiame garaže. Iš apartamentų nusileidus visiškai šalia yra paplūdimys, kuriame gali maudytis. 20 min pėščiomis iki Varennos. Mielai grįštume vien dėl vaizdo iš terasos.

Būstas yra 4 tame aukšte, 68 statūs laiptukai ir neveikia liftas. 4 žmonėm 4riom naktim buvo palikta 3 tualetinio popieriaus ritinėliai, nebuvo šiukšlių maišų. Praverstų pastatoma džiovyklė terasoje.

Beautiful lake view property that was quiet, due to the fact it was a little way from Varenna.

Unfortunately the trains were not working during the week we were there but it is a nice 1-2km walk from the property to Varenna. There is no lift access to the property so be mindful of heaving heavy luggage up multiple flights of stairs. We had some issues with the air conditioning but this was fixed the next day.

Kul leilighet og fin beliggenhet

Veldig mye i ustand eller i dårlig stand. AC fungerte kun moderat, diverse kjøkkenutstyr gammelt/i dårlig forfatning, solstoler nesten ødelagte, persienner ødelagte, internett fungerte ikke, fremstod skittent/dårlig vasket, mm. Ubehagelig seng, men dette er nok mer individuelt.
