Just for info for the future guest: - it would be much easier to have a car to get to the apartment - think to take your shower gel/shampooing

Some suggestions: - have one big full size mirror - have an automatic water evacuation system for the a/c

The appartement is beautifully located 160 m above Lake Como. The town Varenna is within walking distance, and can also be reached using bus or taxi. A local supermarket in Perledo is 1.3 km away. The apartment is large, and well equipped. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to our requests. We visited Ravenna and Bellagio (by boat). Both were very crowded with tourists (end of July). To catch the ferry it is recommended to arrive well on time because it can be full.

Wifi/internet initially didn’t work, but after contacting the host a practical solution was provided.

Beautiful area, quiet and peaceful.

View!

No character, no pictures or art anywhere. Felt cold and sterile. Bees and spiders inside. No screens in Europe so not sure anything could prevent this. Shower difficult to raise arms in to wash hair. Otherwise it’s nice.

Peaceful with stunning views, but needs better acess to Varenna

Peaceful. Excellent views . Balcony facing stunning views

Very difficult to the access hotel - If you don’t have a car .There is a very steep path - cobbled stones- leading down to the village from the toad outside the hotel.. It is pretty difficult to walk on-especially if you are not sure on your legs. It takes about 15-25 minutes walking down and 30-40 minutes up depending on your fitness level. There is a free shuttle up to the villages on the hill starting at 21.00 at night - from the train station in Varenna. It would be very useful to introduce these for a morning run down and one up again about 16.00. As walking up and down that steep hill is pretty exhausting- especially in the heat.

The view from the balcony was beautiful and it was a very spacious apartment. The pool was also great.

The walk back up to the apartment from Varenna is a hike! It’s about 15-20 minutes solid uphill and in the heat of the day it’s a lot but the view is worth it! It’s definitely doable as long as you don’t have access issues as it’s almost all steps.

Fabulous holiday with great opportunities to explore Lake Como

Amazing views. Clean & comfortable apartment. Well equipped. Nice pool. Once in Varenna, access to port is great for ferries to get around the lake.

With an amazing view comes a hill! There are footpaths, but they are steep. We had a car so would drive & park in station car park, which worked for us.

2nd bedroom is a little small but manageable with smaller children. a bit far out of town (up the hill) but very manageable with the car.

We had a fabulous week at the apartment, fabulous view and good base to see the area.

The size of the apartment was good, view was amazing, the balcony was big and had a table and chairs for 4. The apartment was well equipped to cook meals, the washing machine came in handy. Good air con.

View from the balcony/terrace is superbe, Varenna provides excellent starting point to take ferry across the lake (Menaggio, Bellagio) to visit other beautiful spots; supermarket is a 700 m walk from the apartment; Mario checked us in quickly and was available for any question we had

Walk to Varenna is short going down but uphill is steep and may take 25 mins and would be a bit complicated with little children

A warm welcome and beautiful view

The view was incredible, the apartment was spotless and it was very convenient to have a washing machine and dishwasher. Mario made us feel extremely welcome and was very helpful during our stay.

It would be amazing if the property came with some basic cooking essentials like oil, salt and pepper, especially when you are only staying a few days.

The appartment had the most spectaculaire views - just amazing! Appartment was like new and very well equipped! Mario (the rental-manager) is a very nice and extreme informative and helpfull guy!!

The COVID-19 rules at the pool was a bit restricted - pool closed from 13-15 which also included the sunbed area…..

Appartement avec vue exceptionnelle sur le lac de Côme

La vue est exceptionnelle! L’appartement avec terrasse nous a permis de prendre nos repas face à une vue magnifique. Très bon accueil de Lina, très attentive au bien-être des locataires. Piscine très appréciée à nos retours de promenade.

L’appartement avec terrasse a un toit « cathédrale » et il n’y a pas de rideau sur la partie haute des vitres donc réveil tous les jours avec le lever du soleil. Climatisation un peu vétuste, se met en mode « arrêt » régulièrement. À savoir, la chambre avec 2 lits simples ne convient pas pour 2 adultes et ne possède qu’un ventilateur.

Een zeer mooi appartement. Een schitterend uitzicht op Lago di Como. Goed onderhouden. Hygiënisch goed. Zeer goede gastvrouw, behulpzaam op vele vlakken.

Bereikbaarheid accommodatie is niet van deze tijd. Routebeschrijving naar deze accommodatie zou beter kunnen. Met name dat je net door een lusbocht een scherpe bocht naar links moet nemen. De straat zelf lijkt meer op een oude brandgang straat. Zwembad was niet echt hygiënisch, vieze vet randen boven de waterlijn.

Beaucoup de problèmes avec les équipements ( télé, hôte, cafetière, grille pain). Pas de climatisation dans les chambres. La navette pour remonter jusqu’à l’hôtel a été très difficile à trouver et était souvent pleine.

Appartement très clair très bien agencé une vue exceptionnelle sur lac de come et proche de Varenna et un accueil et un suivi de l hôte excellent et d une grande gentillesse( et qui parle français !) le plus un parking fermé et une piscine extérieure

L'accueil de Lina qui est disponible, sympatique et discrète. La vue exceptionnelle sur le lac, la tranquillité du lieu, l'appartement est bien équipé avec beaucoup d'espace pour 2, la literie est de bonne qualité Le parking privé est un plus pour cet hébergement

Magnifik utsikt! Fräscht och modernt. Fullt utrustat. Supermysig balkong att sitta på och ha det mysigt

Poolen var inte så fräsch men helt ok att ligga där nu i maj när vi var nästan ensamma. Det var ett ordentligt träningspass att gå upp från Varenna men annars hade man inte fått den magnifika utsikten så det var bara att acceptera. Taxi från varenna upp för backen kostade 20 euro men om man väntade till 19.00 började en gratis minivan skjutsa upp turister på berget
