The view was stunning. The apartment itself was well designed with two bedrooms, bathroom and a full kitchen. The entire apartment was well cared for, spacious. The location of this property is outstanding. One of the best views ever - and we have stayed a lot of places. The staff were responsive and easy to engage with. The unit itself was very quiet and private. It overlooks Lake Como.
The twisty road up to the apartment was an “adventure” - not for the feint of heart. Once you do it a few times, it’s not a problem. The hike down and up are steep but doable - a really good workout: 15 minutes down and 30 back up (if you are in decent shape). Really, this was an exceptional property and staying here made our trip very special.

The views were spectacular. It had plenty of storage and space. And everything we need to prepare and make meals.
The place could have been a little cleaner. There was a fair amount of dirt and dust behind and under furniture etc. We even found a dead scorpion under a chair. Also the property did not have air conditioning, however there were plenty of fans to cool us down.

An amazing view of Varenna and the lake. The pool was perfect in summer to cool off. The house had everything we needed.
The furniture and decor could be updated. Mattresses could be better.
