Beautiful views and lots to do and see.

The location is excellent for seeing Larenna and catching boats to other destinations on Lake Como. It is very near the port for the ferries and we enjoyed the hustle and bustle this provided. It is also very near the station so good if you are not driving. It has really good views. The meet and greet was excellent.

The apartment was a little impersonal, and the electrics were very dated - although adaptor plugs were supplied. It meant that the speed of charging phones was very slow and the wifi only seems to allow one user at a time. The kitchen was not up to any detailed cooking - but fine if you are eating out mostly.

Gorgeous views of Lake Como and Varenna

The views from this apartment are phenomenal! The place was comfortable and everything was in working order. Giorgio and Alberto were very helpful with everything including assisting in transportation from the train station. The building is behind the ferry terminal. Short walk to grocery store, restaurants and sites. 15 -20 min walk to Villa Monastero. The building and area were very safe.

There was some noise from the ferry station. However, closing the windows helped much with noise reduction.

Varenna is very beautiful. The balcony is nice but small. The place was clean and had good kitchen utensils. The host was very accommodating with the car.

Very noisy with the boats and trash in the morning. The shower was terrible. Water went everywhere. The shower was not connected up properly. No air conditioner. 47 steps are tough.

Excellent base for exploring Lake Como

Excellent location!! Close to ferry, swimming space, restaurants, train station and grocery store. Very convenient for exploring Lake Como. The owner was very friendly and helpful too!
