Clean and comfortable accommodation

Antonio was very helpful and gave loads of useful information, checking in was very easy. Accommodation was very clean, spacious and very conveniently located.

Noisy neighbours- especially someone upstairs, seemed like they were constantly moving furniture…. But not a huge issue, we could put up with it for a short stay.

Get rid of the neighbor, we’d love to stay again

Location was great. We felt safe. Was near a convenience store. Coffee provided was excellent. Host was friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Tenant on the level above us liked to move furniture at inopportune times. 7pm to 1 am. Both nights of our stay, dragging heavy chairs across tile floors and the sound interrupted our otherwise peaceful evenings.

I felt like a had a place of my own in Varenna !

We went to Lake Como to attend a wedding and there was a miscommunication about the number of people staying. However, Toti was exceptionally interested in accommodating our needs and helping us have a great experience 🤩. He treated us more like family than a host. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and clean. Worth mentioning (not as a complaint) is that there are a lot of stairs to reach the apartment, which can be difficult with luggage but surrounded by beautiful flowers . The location is close to the train and ferry stations but involves a hill up to the center of Varenna. Beautiful ✨

It’s a decent place but dated

Location, size of the property was fair

Recitation rubbish left on the property. No Air conditioning. Property needs modernising. The quality is really not up to scratch with other apartments we have stayed in for example in Milan

Lovely appartment, well located

Good location near the ferry in Varenna and well equipped. Rooms were large and comfortable. Host was friendly and helpful.

Some areas were a little run down, like the bathroom door that stuck on the floor. There are also a lot of steps to get to the apartment which wasn’t easy with a pram. Seasonal road closures also made it a little tricky to get to the property.

Great location in a lovely neighborhood.

The apartment was in a wonderful location. Easy walk to the ferry and the neighborhood had good cafes. Antonio was wonderful in communication regarding transportation as direct trains weren’t running to Varenna so he made some recommendations.

The heatwave also affected Lake Como and unfortunately this place does not have AC. One floor fan was provided and we used it for the upstairs bedroom. The bedroom downstairs was near the stream so when the windows were opened it smelled moldy and mosquitoes were coming inside. There are no screens. The windows and patio needs extra cleaning for bugs and spider web removal. The bathroom downstairs was fine. It has a front load washer but there was mold around the seal so we didn’t use it. Just bring extra fans. Luckily I came prepared for Europe. I packed two travel fans and we used them in the downstairs bedroom.

Location to lake was good but accommodation needs improving

Accomodation was close to the lake (and a relatively flat) as the host was helpful and prompt with correspondence via WhatsApp

The bedding was hard, both bathroom sinks didn’t drain and we only had 1 pedestal fan (it was particularly hot during our stay and the top bedroom was very hot).

Enjoyed my stay but the flat would be better suited to family or friends sharing

Location was good - quite close to the station which was useful but quite a walk from the main part of town - close to the ferry port though.

I didn’t know there would be so many steps/stairs to carry my heavy case up and down to get to and from the flat.

Ejoy your stay and visit 3 cities across the lake (Varenna, Bellagio, Menaggio)

Apartment is located in the close proximity to the railway station, which is great! Access to the ferry is in 5 minutes walk. Small grocerry store across the street! Restaurants are not so far from apartment. Kitchen has everything you need for your comfortable stay. I would like to highlight the hostility of the owner - we arived 2 hours before check-in and the owner prepared apartments for us without even asking for this! It was a very pleasant moment since we were tired after travelling with kids from Milan in overcrawded train :)

L'accès à la résidence n'est pas facile (circulation restreinte qui oblige à faire un gros détours pour rentrer dans le parking). Nous avons eut un problème de disponibilité du parking sur une journée; qui a été résolue mais qui nous a un peu compliqué la journée.

Rymligt, väl utrustat kök 2-4 personer, parkeringsplats i garage, bra sängar. Kändes säker.

Liten balkong, mycket trappor i området, vi använde inte ovanvåningens sovrum eftersom det var vattenläcka i badrummet som vi fick veta timmar innan incheckning. Sovrummet på nedervåningen var litet och med en barnsäng och inga kontakter vid sängarna. Löstes snabbt med förlängningssladd dock.
