Lakeside Varenna

Great location You have to walk but it’s worth it It’s right on the lake and lots of places to eat and drink right there

Nothing

Location was perfect by the lake. The building had a lot of character.

Single bathroom upstairs for four people was not the most comfortable. Bathroom had no hooks or bars for towels, no place to put used soap or shampoos. Ran out of toilet paper. Pillows and bedsheets did not feel fresh Single kitchen dishtowel and no paper towels in kitchen

The view was spectacular and the apartment was quite modern inside.

The apartment is located right on the lake and has a spectacular view. At night you can hear the sound of the waves.

It took a while to find the apartment but eventually locals helped us find it. There are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment and it's a bit difficult with luggage. There are also stairs inside the apartment to the second floor so those with leg problems will have a hard time going up. There are parking problems in the area so those who want free parking have to walk quite a bit. We are sporty people so we didn't have a problem. The price is high for a night without breakfast. Breakfast could be provided at one of the eateries downstairs.
