The apartment was very clean and the location was perfect as it is right over the water. It is also close to shops and restaurants. Alberto was informative, friendly, and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Not a darn thing. It was perfect for us. If a person is unable to climb stairs, this location (and Varenna in general) would not be ideal.

The location was absolutely perfect. The balcony gave a beautiful view of the lake and it was right in Varenna city center. Could not say enough great things about this property.

This property was in such a great location. In the center of Varenna, it was so easy to access the ferry and the train.

Nothing. Everything was exceptional.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, which left a good first impression and we liked the location.

Overall we were quite disappointed with our stay, as the price-performance ratio did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately, several negative aspects affected our experience: there was visible mold on the ceiling of the very small shower, and brownish stains on the outside, which gave an unhygienic impression. Also dust webs behind the curtains. The apartment lacked opaque curtains. The beds were very basic and not particularly comfortable, and the small balcony was not inviting for relaxation due to its neglected condition and no Balcony awning.
