The apartment and views were absolutely incredible. As a good view as you'll get in Varenna, and that's saying something.
We really enjoyed the whole vibe of the place. The location is unbeatable, short walk to all of the restaurants, and right next to the ferry port. Giovanni was a great host, he picked us up from the train and made sure we were looked after the whole time. Everything from Prosecco on arrival to making dinner reservations for us.
We have already recommended to our friends to stay here, and we would recommend to anyone else too.

The apartment was a great size, very well equipped and beautifully finished.
It had 2 balconies looking straight out onto the lake which was perfect for sitting out enjoying the Prosecco kindly provided by the host.
With it also only being a few minutes walk from both the train station and the ferry the location was ideal.
And Giovanni the host was very friendly and helpful, meeting us at the train station on arrival and giving us a lift back to the station again when leaving to avoid the bad weather that morning.
There wasn’t anything about the the property I didn’t like.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious. It had a full kitchen stocked with water and coffee, and-even better- a washing machine with detergent for us to use! The view was amazing from the balcony. The location was great, right next to the ferry and just a few blocks from the train station.
Giovanni was incredibly hospitable and responsive. He made sure our stay was comfortable, left us a nice welcome gift, and gave us advice on what to do. Even helped us figure out options when there was a train strike.
No complaints here!
