Our stay was dreamy and too short!

The location, the view, the overall apartment was very well put together and many little details for comfort and convenience considered. The host was amazing, friendly and great with communicating with us. I would without hesitation stay here again if it is available.

A lovely apartment in a magical setting

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. The view from the dining area is spectacular. We were there through some rainstorms and sitting on the window bench staring out at the lake was mesmerizing. A review is not complete without recognizing Luigi. He met us at the train station when it looked like it would be raining upon arrival. He was a font of great advice.

Fabulous apartment with stunning view

One of our favourite properties we’ve stayed in during our travels. The location and view is 10/10. Luigi makes you feel very welcome and at home. The apartment is clean, modern and spacious.

Beautiful view, beautiful apartment, in an authentic Italian lake village

Luigi met us at the train to show us the place. The apartment looks like the photos. It’s in great shape. USB plugs in the bedroom were huge. Location is unbeatable. Great space for four people.

No major complaints! Would be helpful to know what trash can is for which items as a non Italian.

Location fabulous, views great but apartment needs a big refresh!

Fabulous location and views. Casa Posta is a short walk down to the lovely walk way linking to the Ferry. Friendly manager that was very helpful with local tips.

Looking tired out. Two flights of stairs up ... do not take huge suitcase with you. Electrical power points a worry. Switches not easy to reach in places. Beds in second bedroom need mattresses replaced as they are too thin to support an adult. Kitchen functional but cupboards not opening properly or evenly. There are no wine glasses! The owner did say they are revamping the whole apartment over winter which is a good thing as the location is fabulous.

Beautiful apartment with a view

Absolutely beautiful apartment! Conveniently located at about 10 mins walk from the train station, 5 mins to the ferry terminal. Close to restaurants and convenient stores. Luigi is the perfect host. He picked us up at the train station and showed us around the town. The apartment is very clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked. We had a wonderful stay!

Clean modern 2 bedroom apartment Stunning view of the lake Great having a washing machine Didn’t cook but kitchen well equipped Luigi was amazing greeted us at train and transported us to Casa Posta- very helpful with suggestions of what to see and do including suggesting a superb restaurant approx 50 m out the front door to the left which we ate at - food Bellissimo!

Shower water tended to run hot and cold. No lift and having to walk 4 flights of stairs with suitcases. The walk back to the train station which is approx 15 minutes slightly uphill is challenging if you’re not fit.

It was in the perfect location. The views were spectacular!

There wasn’t anywhere to put our things. There were plenty of closets however they were full of the owners things. Would have been nice to be able to put things away.

The air conditioners (mini splits) struggled to cool the apartment and the second bedroom did not have its own unit. But this was a small nuisance overall.

Exceptional

The amazing view of the lake 🥰. We arrived late due to problems with the trains but Luigi was unfazed and very cheerful and informative. The apartment was very quiet, comfortable and well equipped. Location provided very easy access to beaches, restaurants and ferries. Only around 10 minutes to walk to the station.

If you are arriving in the evening be warned that there may be no food shops open. But the restaurants on the square do excellent takeaway pizza.

Varenna is lovely but very small. It takes over an hour to get there from the airport and transfers are very expensive.

The view of the lake was fantastic. The apartment was spacious and clean.

We were only given one key which was problematic at times. The main door to the apartment kept opening unless it was locked. it was a noisy location late at night.

great location- vaulted ceilings- good sq footage- 2 bedrooms with 1 bath in the hall so you didn’t have to walk thru someone’s bedroom. Luigi, our host, met us in person and was fabulous, very responsive! amazing lake water view thru the windows! it was really hot and the AC worked great!

I thought I had rented an apt with a deck so that we could sit outside in chairs and look at the view, not just see the view through the windows. tell people to double check that up front!

The view from the kitchen/dining area looking over the harbor is amazing! Luigi, aka Gigi, was very helpful by meeting us at our arriving ferry and bringing us to the apartment. There was a problem with the WiFi and he fixed it. He also had great restaurant recommendations.

Spectacular view

everything about this place was wonderful, Luigi waited for us at the train station and showed us around, we felt welcomed and at home. the apartment had a spectacular view and a very good vibe. we watched the sunrise over the snowy mountains, it was fantastic. the location is close to everything only a 10-minute walk to the ferry boat station. the charming apartment and the city captured our hearts and will definitely come back.

A perfect location that we hope to return to!

We waited a bit to meet up with our host in the nearby piazza, but when we finally found each other, he was very friendly and accommodating. The apartment was up two flights of stairs, but the view of Lake Como is incredible, so worth it! The private parking garage was super convenient and we were able to park our large SUV without a problem. The A/C was nice and chilly, and my kids really enjoyed the streaming technology to watch their favorite shows.

The older electrical outlets were of various styles and we didn't have enough adaptors, but we were able to manage by sharing phone chargers among us.

A fun and relaxing stay on Lake Como.

This apartment was in a great location; a five-minute walk to the beach and boat rentals and a ten-minute walk to the ferries! It was clean and comfortable for our family of four plus our dog. Contact with the property manager was excellent. All in all, a great stay.
