Great little apartment

This is a great little apartment in a very pretty town. It is up some steep steps, because Varenna is built on a steep slope. You can be down at the lake for a swim in 3 minutes. Even closer to a good little grocery store for breakfast croissants. There were 3 of us so we used all 3 beds (Inc sofa bed). Would be very cramped for 6 people, but great for 3 or 4. Washing machine was useful as we were traveling. Good set of pans for cooking too.

A few minor things. For cooking it would be nice to have a few store cupboard items like salt and pepper.

Very nice unit, but noise in the morning reduced the value of our stay.

Unit was immaculate. Management company was friendly and helpful.

There is a fish business on the lower floor, so the workers started talking at 7am on a Saturday, which will likely wake you. The voices echo to all the units in the complex. You also smell fish when you walk through the area to arrive/leave your unit. There is major construction in the lower floor area, so construction starts at 8am on weekdays, which will wake you. At night, the walkway/stairs on the lower floor is dark, so we had to use the flashlight on our phone to avoid any trips/falls. The unit looks a lot larger in the pictures, but we had plenty of space (we live in NYC in a Manhattan apartment).

The shower was too small for large people. No view. Washer was tiny; there was no dryer, but the tiny drying rack worked well. No coffee machine, but the stove-top moka pot was good.

Great location, clean room. Management of the property great.

Location was great, main bedroom bed was comfortable. Good bathroom and washing machine a bonus.

Blow up bed provided but no sheets/linen - sent message for more but no response. Washing machine leaked, quick response by managers but cleaners did a substandard job. Extra touches like basic supply of tea, coffee, etc would be good.

Not a pretty home.

luckily we only need it to sleep

walk up many stairs past a fish processing place to get to the property. small view of hills over neighbouring roofs otherwise you feel close in. small bathroom with a broken lock and a bifold door that you will struggle with. can’t imagine how you would cope if you are staying as a group of friends. I won’t book it even if it’s half the price if I have known.

Excellent location and apartment!

Great property and location. Really close to the heart of Varenna and a great central location for exploring what Lake Como has to offer via Ferry and train. Apartment was very spacious, clean, and well maintained.

Lots of stairs to get to the apartment, but the rest of Varenna is the same way. If you have issues climbing stairs or walking on bumpy terrain, Varenna is probably not the best place to stay anyways.

Location in Varenna was very good. The view was excellent.

Access was very difficult and impossible for any person with any mobility issues at all. Was extremely overpriced for what it was. For the money one would expect a lot more.

Varenna ale nie tu!!!

Apartament nowy ładnie urządzony niestety nie dla 5 osób, bo jest za mały choć powierzchnia maksymalnie wykorzystana blisko do Villa Monastera i wszystkich atrakcji Varenny to na plus

Duży minus za brak informacji że piętro niżej jest sklep rybny odór ryb okropny okna nie można otworzyć, obok za ścianą remont kamienicy z tablicy wynika, że do 04.26 zatem odgłosy jak na budowie, brakuje kubków nie ma z apartamentu żadnego widoku oprócz na ohydne wejście
