The location is stunning. If you don’t have a lot of baggage you can climb the old stairs that wind through the mountain to get there, otherwise Luisa was so kind to give us a ride, and gave us a ride back to the station when we left! The beds were so comfy, all the amenities we needed to cook and wash and be comfortable were there. We range in age from 60/45/10 years old. No problem with the stairs to the apartment from the town center when we went sightseeing. The views were spectacular and we could even watch the World Cup! We ate outside and relaxed and explored Varenna and then Menaggio on the ferry. The apartment also stays cool without AC despite being in 26+celsius 87F +. It’s huge and comfortable! The area is peaceful. There is a night bus if you don’t feel like walking home and it’s free. Easy access by train to Varenna. The garden is gorgeously landscaped too. We were really impressed and Luisa gave us a ride to the grocery store and gave us awesome tips on where to go for a swim/eating/ and checking things out. She was amazing!!! Book with confidence. There was ample soap and amenities and the essentials you need. She even gave us some snacks to start us off with! You’ll have a lovely stay!

We had a lovely stay at Villa Bianca. Luisa was a great host, providing excellent communication and clear arrangements before our arrival, which made the check-in process very smooth.
The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Although there is no air conditioning, the apartment is naturally breezy and a fan is provided, which was sufficient during our stay.
A big advantage is the spacious garage, making parking very convenient. The town center is about a 10-minute walk away, though the route involves a sloping gravel path, which may be worth noting for some guests. In the evening, there is also a free bus service available from 7:00 PM onwards, which is a nice alternative.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend Villa Bianca to others.
